The SE110 are great 4 outside work, but the SE420's are much much better 4 listening when relaxed.

The sound-isolating feature delivers as promised. I use these with my ipod and have the volume set to the lowest possible setting. Anything louder would be almost deafening. The sound quality is very good, but bass could be improved. Others have noted this as well. Bass is important but so is price. For the price these are some great buds. Mids and highs sound great and I'm able to hear things that I can't hear with other cheaper headphones.
