This listing says "BLACK", but the item shipped was silver. Aside from that, I like the system.
Installation was quick and easy. Although the marketing says "5 minute installation", reality dictates that you will spend 30-60 minutes setting the system up. If you didn't have to take it out of the box and packaging, insert batteries into the remote, and place the system where you want it, just plugging it in and turning it on would indeed be a 5 minute setup. However, the unit is well packed and it will take you at least 5 minutes just to get it out of the box. The sound is very good and the controls on the bass unit are nice. I have listened to the Bose 3-2-1 system in store displays and this Sherwood system provides sound in my home just as nice as the sounds I heard from the Bose 3-2-1 in the stores. It may not be as nice overall, but the styling and sound of the Sherwood are great and make it worth the nearly $600 less than the Bose 3-2-1. Recommended! Was this review helpful?

Product is a good value and overall is good but buy the extended warranty from Buy.com or what ever store you purchase from!!! I bought one that I did not set up for several months and the DVD's froze every time. I contacted Sherwood, because it was past the time CC would take it back, and they gave me a number for a authorized repair shop in Knoxville, TN. I called the shop and was informed Sherwood had not paid for some warranty work and they would only fix if I paid them. Called Sherwood back and they said I had to ship to California on my own dime! I will never buy another Sherwood product because of this!!!!!! What’s wrong with electronics companies these days? They won’t stand behind their products; must mean they know they are making cheap products (not just in price)!!!!!!! And by the way; the BOSE 321 is a lot better!!!
