Trying not to get my hopes up too high, I started the first mission almost expecting to be disappointed. However, it was clear from the start that this game wasn't going to disappoint; the graphics are powered by Guerrilla's "ground-breaking" technology as we are told and certainly does the job. The background, characters and animation are realistic and very well animated...A nice touch to the flow of the game is the base camp that breaks up the action in between levels. Here you can chat to your platoon and also try out some weapons on the shooting range...Turning to the technical aspects of the game, this is everything that MOH Rising Sun should have been. Graphically, the game is fabulous. The level of detail is amazing, all your squad members have their own look, the scenery is interactive and beautifully drawn and the levels well designed...Equally impressive is the sound. Superb ricochets, screams, explosions, gunfire and just the general sound of battle compliment the graphics...I was very happy with this game. The graphics, sound and gameplay are extremely well polished; the AI is also good with your platoon mates actually helping rather than hindering. They don't die too easily and although this detracts from the realism the game is trying to portray it is a well-received subtle compromise that adds to the gameplay. - Gary Spencer
