Will he ever be the man? Features: DVD Steven Byzinsky is one very confused white man who thinks he is none other than 1970s pop icon and "blaxploitation" film hero John Shaft. And, like his hero, Steven is always on the lookout to help the brother-man (and maybe make a little American green and meet a few of L.A.'s finer ladies in the process). He's feelin' good, lookin' fine, and ready, willing, and waiting for action. This action-comedy is a parody with lots of non-stop, deliriously over-the-top action as well as a humorous look at race relations, homophobia, and xenophobia in the American 90s. Shafted! has all the answers... even if you're not quite sure what the questions are.
 Editor's Note
The blaxploitation films of the 1970s provided many memorable heros such as John Shaft and Black Belt Jones. Steven Byzinsky thinks he is just such a hero, only he is not living in the seventies, nor is he of African descent. This comedy follows Steve, the first white hero as he tries to keep it real and outwit The Man.
