A new breed of people, the Hexes, came about in the 21st century as a result of genetic experiments that gave them the ability to interface with technology. In 2367, a young Hex named Raven attempts to expose secret government lab experiments on Hexes, but the lab is destroyed and the records hidden. Raven and the Hex group remain at large--but nowhere is safe for a Hex whose cover has been blown.
