 Editor's Note
In this adventure-driven drama set in the 11th century, two Vikings are left behind in what will be called North America. Though survival is their main objective, different elements call to them and cause them to separate: one goes in search of spiritual enlightenment, while his comrade relies on his primitive nature. This low-budget, high-action film diverges from the typical Viking film in a notable manner: SEVERED WAYS doesn?t opt for a period or classical soundtrack. Instead, the Vikings' exploits are set to the hard-rocking music of Morbid Angel, Judas Priest, Dimmu Borgir, and Queens of the Stone Age.
