True love and family ties are tested, then brought to a rapid boil, in this heart-warming tale of the Donovan family, who uproots from Los Angeles and moves to Connecticut. Seventeen-year old Sydney (Sister, Sister star Tia Mowry), misses her old home, but her brother, twelve-year old Willie (Tahj Mowry), is happy anywhere, as long as he has his laboratory accessible to him. He is working on an experiment to perfect an anti-aging formula when he inadvertently starts a fire. Because of this mishap, his agitated father bans him from the lab and orders him to help the family unpack boxes from their move. In one of the boxes is a bar of soap that has been contaminated by a tiny drop of experimental formula. Unaware of the contaminated soap, Willie innocently places it beside the bathtub. As fate would have it, it is Willie's grandparents who are staying with them that end up bathing with the soap. His grandparents divorced many years ago, but adore their family so they agree to spend this quality time with their beloved grandchildren. His grandmother, Catherine "Cat", ends up looking just like her granddaughter, Sydney. While his grandfather, Gene's transformation happens behind the wheel of his son's car. Soon both grandparents start to discover what it means being young again--and to have a second chance to get things right. Meanwhile, in his lab, Willie discovers that his grandparents are in danger--his formula could prove deadly. As Willie frantically works on an antidote, Sydney keeps an eye on Cat and Gene. The Donovans move from Los Angeles to Connecticut, ready to start a new phase of their life. All 12-year-old Willie cares about are his science experiments; he is currently working on an anti-aging formula. However, when some of the formula spills onto a box of soap, Willie finds out that he has gotten more than he bargained for, as his divorced grandparents use the soap and turn back into 17-year-olds.Tia and Tamera Mowry (SISTER, SISTER) are terrific as Sydney and the transformed Grandma Cat, respectively, with brother Tahj playing Willie, who must search for an antidote when he discovers that his formula has a few problems that might just end up killing his revitalized teenage grandparents. Meanwhile, his now-young grandparents are exploring their second chance at love in this touching cable original from Hallmark Entertainment. The film also features a performance from BOYZ II MEN.
