we gave this camera to my 8 year old on the first night of chanukah on friday he dropped it and it stopped working we couldn't turn it on

My 3 yr old got this for christmas and absolutely LOVED it. Only thing is first time he dropped it, it broke. I am in the process of trying to get it replaced for him. We'll see what happens. Other than that its easy for him to use and he loves that he can see the picture on the screen.

enjoyed all other features - it is durable, cute, screen is OK. Biggest disappointment is that when you push the button, it takes about 2 seconds to actually take the picture - and it doesn't "click", it makes a "beep beep" sound... I can't even figure out if it took a picture or not. My 3 yr old plays with his older brother's camera instead.

Buttons a little complicated for younger children, but still a fun toy. Pictures are okay. My son loves it!

My son is a litle young for this toy but he is advanced for his age. He aims, and takes the picture. He also reviews the picture after he takes it.

I bought this for my son for christmas and as soon as i opened it and put batteries in it (which by the way, when u unscrew the back to put batteries in you peel off the plastic because the holes they made are too small for the screwdriver to fit) it just didnt turn on. Finally one day out of nowhere it turned on, but the picture quality is SOOOOOOOOOO bad, i cant believe this camera costs as much as it does. Then my son dropped it on the floor and that was it. It doesnt NOT work at all and the button to take pictures is broken. I can no longer even use the camera if i wanted to and my son hardly even had a chance to use it. Im going to call someone because this is rediculous. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS!!!!!!!!!!

The item does not come with 4 batteries so I had to remove two covers, one on each side, using a screw driver. Either the screws were too small or the holes drilled into the plastic were too big. When screwing the screws back in, once the brand new batteries were installed, both screws were instantly stripped. The battery covers will not stay on without the screws... I started the camera and took one picture. The quality was poor. Then the camera started to shut itself off as soon as I turned it on. It is going back. It's too bad. I know my 3yo would have loved it.

I purchased this item for my son for Christmas; however, upon loading batteries, it would not power on. We changed all batteries, including the disk battery and it still did not work. It powered on once the USB cable was plugged to it, but would not take pictures or perform any other functions other than showing a USB was attached to it on the screen. Because I bought this around Thanksgiving, I could not return it to Buy.com due to the 14 day return policy which was disappointing. I had to contact the manufacturer company via phone because the item isn't listed in their web site. I was authorized a return since it was within their 3 month replacement policy and am still awaiting a replacement. Parts of the item seem like it would hold up well, the buttons on the back seem a little less durable for a 3 year old. If you purchase this, you'll also want to invest in an additional SD card for more picture storage. I'm supposed to get the replacement in about a month. It's a shame Buy.com doesn't modify their return policy on Christmas presents. If the replacement works, I'll update the review appropriately, but for now, we are out a camera and $40.
