5 of 5 Quiet and Fast Saturday, June 07, 2008
David from Deming, NM

Thanks to Seagate's DiscWizard (which is a free version of Acronis True Image), copying the old drive to this one couldn't have been easier. The drive is fast and quiet. Note that it is sold here in the OEM package. You will need to provide your own cables and screws and download DiscWizard from Seagate.

1 of 5 Ran 10 months very nicely and suddenly fried Friday, December 14, 2007
A Customer from Dayton, OH
I bought this in February 2007. Installed it without any problems. It was running very well. I keep all my compuetrs turned off when not in use. I ran it in the morning. Then yesterday evening I tried to turn it on and suddenly it's boot-up procedure was detecting a 'damaged or unformatted' disk. I have a good knowledge on computers and I tried every possible way to reboot it. I could not. At one point, I thought what the heck, I will reformat the drive and get it running again. Well, I could not even reformat it. It was complaining about the disk is damaged. On the other hand I have two Maxtor drives that are running flawlessly for a few years!

A Customer from NJ
This is a Fine Drive ! I took out the preinstalled Vista drive that came with my new computer, and am using this as a main drive, dual boot. No problems, it's been 10+ weeks.

I bought this drive and within 2 weeks had to have it replaced. Was not happy at all. But Maxtor replaced it without any questions asked. The new drive has worked perfect so far.

5 of 5 Big, Fast & Easy To Install Monday, August 06, 2007
A Customer from Georgia
Bought this drive for building a new computer, great price paid the same for my 160GB Seagate Barracuda. Big drive with quick transfer rates & good for gaming PC's. the SATA version uses a smaller cable that helps keep the inside of your PC from being to clustered. Great Buy!

4 of 5 hard drive upgrade Saturday, June 23, 2007
gus999@sbcglobal.net from Coventry, CT
The Seagate internal hard drive was quick to install. The replacement unit will provide more the enough storage for my needs. There is a noticeable speed increase over the previous NON-SATA drive. My only disappointment was the lacking of power and data cables. This installation was an UP-GRADE. It seems that most retail and on-line merchants offer the cables, BUT, they would be BACK-ORDERED

5 of 5 Exelent Compatability, Speed & Storage! Friday, May 25, 2007
A Customer from Wisconsin
I have had it for about 1 year now, and i can honestly say it has had no problems or glitches and it did not effect my computers performance in any way, shape, or form. I find this drive very effective for backups, or just for regular storage.

5 of 5 very good price for a 320G drive Wednesday, February 14, 2007
A Customer from washington, dc
This is a very good price for a large internal hard drive - tough to beat. Drive installs seemlessly and works great, good speed and also pretty quiet. It came with a 5 year warranty, which is also better than most drives out there.
