Buy.com had an excellent price on this excellent (although somewhat noisy) drive, but beware. No where in the description does it mention that this is an OEM drive. Had I known that I would have bought a cable and screws when I ordered it. Was this review helpful?

I like this drive overall. It seems to function well and has good speed. One con is that it is quite a bit noisier than my older 160GB Seagate drive. The sound isn't horrible or excessive mind you, but you can plainly hear it writing and reading to the disk. It is the loudest part of an other wise quiet system. Was this review helpful?

Works well. You will need to pull the default jumper as shipped to get 300MBps rather than 150MBps. Also make sure you order a SATA cable as this is a bare drive. Was this review helpful?
