it functions very well with my 01 corolla le. Nothing much to talk about, my ears can't tell the differences between playing cd and mp3 with it now. Totally, noise-free. The color is my favorate black.

Device is noisy in our '00 Toyota Sienna but very quiet in our '99 Nissan Altima. (We had worse experience with a Belkin cassette adapter we bought elsewhere that we returned.) I'm using the Scosche in the Altima; my wife uses the RCA adapter in the Sienna that I used to use in the Altima. Unit shipped was black and with a straight rather coiled cord. I actually prefer the black color and cord doesn't matter to me.
