The construction begins with energy-absorbing MDF, not particle board. Add to that, features like ABS plastic spikes, a concealed wire path and neoprene speaker isolation pads, and you've got a sound foundation for your speakers.     Everything on this page indicates that this is a single stand. Probably why there hasn't been a review in a couple of years. Rest assured, that there are 2 stands in the package. Anyway, easy to assemble, very sturdy and a great price. I like the wire routing to hide the wiring. Very satisfied....
