4 of 5 Compatible Video Formats / Conversion? Monday, January 28, 2008
Philip G. from East Kingston, NH

This seems like a great product, but what if you don't have videos in MPEG-4 DivX or xVid video format? What if you only have .wmv, .mpg, .mpeg, .mov, .avi, etc.? Does this product come with software that will convert various video formats to either MPEG-4 DivX or xVid video formats? Thank you for your time. {:-)

5 of 5 SanDisk TakeTV Sunday, December 30, 2007
Soo & William Hanson from Winston-Salem, NC
The SanDisk TakeTV is a really neat gadget that allows playing downloaded movies on your TV easily via USB flash drive plugged into a cable (S-Video or Composite video) to the TV or Home Theatre box. From the PC, it's simply drag & drop to the flash drive and then plugged into the TV attachment. The remote is somewhat "Mickey Mouse" but functional and easy to maneuver the menu. This device is the easiest and most versatile available for this purpose. Price is very reasonable, especially if you accept the buy.com VISA for a $30 discount. We've enjoyed using ours tremendously and highly recommend this product.

4 of 5 Convenient tool for downloading TV from Work Friday, November 09, 2007
PandaBear from San Francisco, CA
Let's just say 4GB (even 8GB) are not enough to store a reasonable amount of movies, but the good thing is at least they have an online service that you can use from work to download TV episode for free, and bring it home to watch. If you want to watch TV without using bit torrent and get caught by MPAA, or if you have a slow connection at home, this thing could help. Using it as a 4GB USB drive is also nice (despite being on the expensive end), so you don't have to carry them all with you at all time.
