The Sansa Shaker features many ways to listen to and share songs. It has a built-in speaker to enjoy music without ear buds, to play your favorite music, and listen with your friends & family. Plus it comes with two headphone jacks. You also have the ability to play and share SD cards loaded with your favorite songs.

Changing songs on the Sansa Shaker is a snap or rather, a shake. You can impress your friends by shaking the device to jump to the next song, or use the colorful controller bands for forward and backward changing as well to manipulate volume.
The Sansa Shaker is available in a choice of colors, and comes equipped with a USB cable, lanyard, pre-loaded songs, and a colorful array of stickers so kids can customize their device. A AAA battery is included which allows up to 15 hours*** of music life when using headphones.

I had been looking for a product to give my 15m old granddaughter to play music with, so she would leave our cell phones alone. She figures out how to play ringtones if you give her enough time with with a cellphone...then she runs your battery down. This "Shaker" was just what I was looking for. The packaging say for 8 years and above, but I can't figure out why. Press the only button and it comes on and plays what ever MP3s you put into it one right after another. Once I put the songs in and set the volume level, my granddaughter walks around with it, dances with it, and smiles like the cat who finally caught the canary. My only complaint is that we've never actually been able to make it change songs by shaking it. Strange! Nevertheless I love it and would reccomend it to anyone of any age. Was this review helpful?

I bought this little mp3 player for my daughter on her 7th bithday. It is a bit unintuitive, but after reading the instructions, it is very simple to use. Songs play in random order, and there is no lcd screen, but she doesn't mind. There is also no internal memory, it is just an SD card, so you could probably buy the cheap 512 mb version and get a much bigger card for a few dollars more. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend it for kids. Was this review helpful?

I got one today,and love it very much!
It is just so cool~everybody says so. Even though I am 20 years old, I still like it. The speaker sounds pretty good,and you can share music with others. And the "shake" really impressed me.

This is a great option for young kids, especially because of the speaker. You get to put their favorite music on it and it has plenty of room, we didn't need additional space. It is easy to use and really durable. The speaker isn't the top of the line but it is a great feature when you have more than kid. My kids carry it around and use the speaker more than the headphones. They love it and it has stood up to a not very gentle 2 1/2 year old. Was this review helpful?

she loves it and carries it with her almost everywhere she goes. she also has no problem figuring out how to use it. However, the quality of it is questionable. It keeps getting "stuck" and we have to take the battery out and reload it to get it to work. im afraid the life span of this product probably isnt very long and if that is that case we wont buy another... too expensive for that.
