SanDisk Sansa Fuze MP3 Player 4GB - Pink

The first unit I recieved wasn't working the way I expected, but Buy.com's RMA allowed me to get a replacement with no difficulties. I'm very satisfied with this product. First of all, I'm smitten by the adorable hot pink! It's small, thin, and light. Very easy to navigate, expndable storange with a removable card which means I can just take out the card from the Fuze and use it on my phone or digital camera if I run out of memory on them. I am using a Kingstone 8GB microSD (SDHC type), additional features that the iPod doesn't have such as the radio and voice recording functions though this costs a lot less than the iPod. Two things that I wish were different are 1) the fact that I have to use Sansa media converter (a free download from SanDisk's website) to convert videos for use on the Fuze. Other video editing/conversion softwares do not work. And Sansa Media Converter CANNOT BE INSTALLED ON 64-BIT VISTA though it works perfectly on my XP computer. 2) I cannot listen to music while the unit is being recharged. But overall, this product is definitely a great buy when I consider all it is capable of doing for the price in addition to its look. Am patiently waiting for SanDisk to develop a new video converter for Vista.

I really love this little mp3 player. It has great quality sound and video. I listen to music, the radio and watch downloaded videos on it. It's so cute and tiny. I absolutely hate Ipods. Get this player. It's worth every penny.

I purchased this for my Grand Daughter for Christmas, she's 12 and loves pink. She is very happy with it! It is very easy for her to use. Now I can't just call her name I have to wave my hand in front of her to get her attention. She's down loaded a lot of songs with no problem. I think it was a good deal, the best deal we found!

Only been using it for a week or two, but so far it's been a great little player. Great display! And the scroll wheel is awesome - very soft and responsive with a high-quality feel. The navigation is like other top-end players - only complaint is no easy way to stop play (other than pause). I did run into some issues with my laptop not having a necessary driver, which caused the player not to be recognized like it should have at first - it took some time, but I eventually got it all figured out and it's working fine now -(the off-shore phone support was hard to understand and only minimally helpful). And of course there's the whole video conversion requirement to play MOV's (etc.), but they do provide a free, easy-to-use converter that seems to do the trick. Although, I've noticed that the video seems to speed up and the audio gets behind the more I add to my total library (not just video). But like I said, considering the price (I got it on a great sale) and everything else, overall satisfaction is a 4 out of 5.

My 6 year old daughter loves it; is learning to navigate the controls. Software upgrade went mostly smoothly (pause where it appears to be done, but really isn't, is long), installing music is very easy. Son has the Sansa E260, data cable for it and the Fuse is identical.

My daughter asked my to buy her this for xmas. I was concerned she would not be content with it since her sisters have new ipods. She absolutely loves it. Very easy to use and download music. Sound is great. Perfect size, not too small or too big. And the price was even better.

I've used Sansa players all the way back to the original m250 models. With each release, they get better and better. This one is pink and is for my girlfriend's daughter. Since I have an identical 4gb black one, I know she is going to love it. The Fuze is the best bang for the buck and is on par with the iPod, but at a fraction of the price. Solid, durable, and priced right .. you can't go wrong with this player.

I bought this for my wife and she loves it. Very well built, smooth UI and does everything she needs. Also, She uses the FM recorder a lot and that is a rare feature. I plan on buying myself one as well. :)

I had another Sansa mp3 player before and liked it. I got this one caz it's pink and to replace the old one that got dropped 1000 times and no longer looks that nice. The navigation is very intuitive and easy to figure out. Compared to the iPod, the storage is a lot smaller, but for me 4GB is more than enough. In addition, this unit has a micro SD slot (will take SDHC cards whose capacities are above 2GB) for expansion which is good in case I would like to add more songs in the future. And the prices of micro SD cards are really cheap now! I love it that I can synchronize with Windows Media Player to add playlists and such. It's very easy for PC users. The player also allows you to preset and tune into FM radio which the iPod cannot do. You can even record your own voice as well. Adding videos. This is the only part that I wish were slightly different. You can convert amost any videos out there using SanDisk's video converter (free). I wish the unit supported regular mpeg 4 / iPod format and 3gpp or whatever that cell phones often use. That'd make it a lot easier to enjoy videos on this unit, and that's the only reason why I deducted one point from my performance rating. But considering the price and all other good things about this player, I can easily ignore the video part! And you cannot listen to music while you recharge the unit with the included USB data cable. However, Amazon had a wall charger for 1 dollars and 30 cents with which you can listen to music while recharge it. :p The USB data cable and wall charger work with both the old Sansa mp3 player I have and this new Fuze. In addition to a USB data /charger cable, the package included a velvet-like case (no belt clip or anything though) to protect it while you carry it in your pocket etc, black basic headphones, and an installation CD which you do not really need if you have Windows XP or Vista with Plug-and-Play.

I love the bright pink color!! This is such an easy player to use. Great screen, great sound, great look. The weight is perfect and the size fits my hands wonderfully. The scroll wheel is so easy to use and so innovative! I will no longer use an MP3 player without a scroll wheel! My only complaint is having to convert your videos to get them to play on the Fuze, but I didn't buy it to watch videos. I bought it to listen to music and audio books and it does both perfectly!

I absolutely love this product. All the features work great and the media converter that you can download from their site is wonderful. I've been able to convert a whole bunch of videos and pics to show my family and friends. My only complain is that I can't convert any of my 3g videos. If anyone knows how, please let me know how you did it.

My daughter wanted a simple mp3 player and didn't want the expensive Ipod or Zune. her sister has a sansa e260 and loves it, so this was a natural. It works great, has the same adapter as her sisters and charged up within an hour of being plugged in. would buy again in a heartbeat.

I've just had this for about 2 weeks now, so far works great. It's just a few songs shy of being full. Got an extra micro sd card to put more music on. Transferring music was very easy! no problems with 3 videos either. Also loaded several pictures! The oem ear plugs are 'ok', not great.... Also, couldn't beat the price I got from here + free 2 day shipping!!!

It works like I though an iPod would work, but a whole lot less expensive and it has a memory chip slot. I wanted a MP3 player that would not automatically shuffle all my music but would have the option of shuffling for listening to the music. This MP3 player is just what I wanted and I was able to get it in my favorite color, pink!

Finnaly they coming in colors so my daugter enjoing hers in pink. Better software, larger screen and easy to remove the unwanted songs without connecting to the computer. Photos looks great, I like expandable memory. This is our second Sansa and we love it. Forget the more expensive ipod. Service from buy.com like always - super.
