I purchased this item a few months ago and I absolutely love it! The combination of size, features, and ease of use have made it an everyday travel neccessity for me. Becausse of the plug and play compatibility with Rhapsody, I was able to quickly load up all my favorite music (I did need to upgrade the firmware version that the player was running on, but have had NO problems since then). I was able to get mine at a discounted price, so that obviously affects my feelings as well.

I got this for my husband for his birthday in the blue (the blue is darker in person) and he loved it!! He had an MP3Player before and wanted an upgrade to use for working out and when he is outside around the house! He has already downloaded music, pictures, and listens to the am/fm radio in the morning...the photos were good quality and the sound is good..He also said its very easy to use and was a great gift! Overall, great buy for the price and shipping was fast!

The sound and picture are great. Nice size, not too big and not too small. The only down side is that it requires you to use a special sansa media converter to convert mp4s videos to a special sansa only format which does not seem to allow you to control the size of the file and, the sansa converter itself doesn't seem to work 100% all of the time, at least not on vista. The mp3 player itself is wonderful to use, and I love the spinning scrolling feature of the center wheel, makes it very similar to the feel of an ipod!

Great little player. Shipped very fast. The only problem we are having with it is the CD cover picture isn't showing up when we download the CD. It could be I'm not doing something right. I know it can be done. All in all beautiful red color, sounds great, love the radio and recording feature, awsome price 49.99 thanks to buy.com and free shipping. Very happy with it.

Product was shipped quickly and was packaged securely. This was purchased as a Christmas gift for my 13 year old son. He was very happy with it, especially the cool blue color. Has a lot of storage for his songs as well as pictures and videos. It can even be used as a digital voice recorder. The package came with easy to read instructions and accessories to charge it up and start listening. Very simple to add and delete songs. He took it on a long road trip (12 hours one way)during the holidays and never needed to recharge it until we returned a week later. And it was quick to recharge! It's a great value for the money when compared to the ipods. Highly recommended.

The Fuze is a great mp3 player if you're on a tight budget. Works perfectly fine and it even includes FM Radio and a Microphone that is extremely sensitive. Good buy for a cheap price... got it when it was on sale for $50. Thanks buy.com

It was a huge hassle to get buy.com to honor the 49.99 price I got from them on black Friday. They confirmed my order but never sent it. Then they simply ignored me until I found their corporate office number online and spoke to someone there. A month later they agreed to send out a blue player instead of the black one I ordered. The player itself is very good for music and audio books. The FM radio works well. There is a sleep function so the player will shut off after a pre-set period of time that you choose. I was able to update the firmware with no problems from the sansa website. I am using an 8gb transcend class 6 sdhc add on memory card without problems. I do not get near the 24 hours of play time on a charge - outside cold temperatures probably reduce play time significantly. I am happy with the player for audio, but of course the screen is quite small for video. I would not recommend this for a video device - go for a larger screen.

This is quite an amazing little MP3 player and great value for the price. Would highly recommend it if you don't want to spend a lot of money but want a very good player with nice extras included!

Works great but as I a first time MP3 user was surprised that iTunes locks everything down to keep you from you using your purchased music freely. Overall great product with handy features. The kids love them.

What a perfect gift. The price is great. The sound is great. Good capacity and the Micro SDHC slot is really really great. (Not very many players can use the HC high capacity cards. I put an 8Gb card in it.) The video is surprisingly watchable, both for pics and short video clips. FM works great and can be used internationally. And it has a really great feel--sturdy, smooth, thin. Caveats? It has a few but they are very minor. Use the jack that comes with it. If you use one with a longer stem you have to be careful to push it in just far enough but not too far or you won't get sound. Don't expect to play full length videos. And you can't just put a card full of pics and video into the slot and go. You have to run all video through Sansa's Media Converter software on a PC to prep it for the Fuze. The converter software doesn't come with it and has to be downloaded from their site (free). Also, the Rhapsody software that does comes with it won't install unless you're on the internet. But once the software is loaded, videos convert quickly and it is total coolness.

This is a great little MP3 player. You don't need any special program to download tunes from your PC to the player. I listened to J.C non stop from Atlanta, GA to Manaus, Amazonia, Brazil.

This is the coolest little player I've seen. Super small and lightweight, but great color screen and resolution. Songs, photos, videos plus FM! Great sound. Nice that it comes with the Micro SD expansion slot for the future. Can't play iTunes without converting to MP3 first, but I already have to do that for my Sony Ericsson phone. Love this player!

My son loves his new Sansa Fuze that he got for Christmas. He is 8 and wanted an iPod Touch. We thought that was a bit much for an 8 year old so wanted something that would do a lot of things that the iPod Touch would do that he was impressed with. We have not figured out how to upload the videos to it yet...as that is very confusing, not nearly as easy as uploading to my iPod. He is a bit disappointed in that, but as far as quality and other use...he loves his new Sansa and we are happy that he is happy.

I love the Sandisk Fuze. There are even instruction booklets online. The second day of use, the screen froze up. I went online and solved the problem in less than five minutes. Besides loading all my favorite songs on it, I've begun recording songs from the FM stations. It's so easy to use, and performs well.

I got this for my son for Christmas and he couldn't be happier and I can see why. I helped him load all his music and videos and it's surprisingly easy. Much easier than the Apple Nano which requires iTunes opposed to the Fuze's basic requirement of WMP 10. Sound is just as good with adjustable and preset EQ. Aesthetics are superior with a rubbery feel on the back cover to improve grip control. LCD resolution is also up to par and all the movies we loaded look crisp. FM reception is better than its predecessor. Controls are intuitively placed with a one touch Home button. Why pay for $150+ for an Apple when you can get a much better player for under $50. I have the Red and Blue and they both look fantastic in person. Buy.com delivered quickly as well.

I ordered this unit for myself and family for Christmas. I received the package and set my unit up immediately. Instructions were easy to understand and the product is easy to use. I loaded pictures, and music. I think the ear buds can be replaced with a better pair. I heard that many MP3 players sound better with a more high end ear buds. I tried the buds I purchased separately and the unit seemed to sound a lot better. This is a small price to pay for an exceptional value in music players.

This "poor man's Ipod" is great if you are only interested in mp3 music and FM Stereo broadcasting. If you want to "watch" any kind of video, you will need 4X magnifying glasses.

Sansa Fuze MP3 player is really good. You can easily transfer mp3 songs, pictures to this player. May be that much not handy when transfering mp4 files. Also one drawback is battery is non-replaceable.

I liked the first one so much I bought another. You can read my previous review which has a lot of details and I have coppied for you below. This is a great product and at a great price. LOVE IT! copy of previous review: This Sansa Fuze I actually like more than my ipod. You can expand the memory with a micro sd hc card so you can add 8 gb or I believe even 16 gb to the memory of the unit. I like the tactile wheel even more than the touch wheel of the ipod as you have a more fine tune control over it. I also like the visual graphics for control over what you are doing. It is very intuitive and easy to use. The screen is nice and clear and works well for videos. It is a nice tiny unit. I don't like being forced into using someone's proprietory software so I like that I can use Windows Media Player to sync with the fuze and that I can use WMA format which takes up about half the memory that MP3 does. The only thing that I can think that I don't like about the fuze is that I wish they used a generic mini usb cable for charging and sync'ing Overall I give it a 5 out of 5 with a bonus for the great price I got it for. I highly recomend it. Oh and the colors online andin the pictures are not accurate. The bright red you see online is more of a dark red and the bright blue is a dark rich blue but not a navy blue.

Recieved the Sandisk in about 2 days. Plugged it in & ready to go. Very easy to download music from Rhapsody. Sound quality good & controls very user freindly. My teenage kids want one!

Even at retail this player is equivalent to an iPod Nano at about a third of the cost. Bring the price down to $50 (which is what buy.com was offering), and I almost couldn't afford not to buy it. My only usability complaint is that, in order to play video, you need to use the video converter that comes with the player, and it's Windows-only software. Being a Linux user I would at least appreciate some information from the vendor describing the video format that the player will accept. Really this is no different from the Apple product line, which are basically dependent on iTunes. Related to that thought, this player shouldn't create any oops-I-deleted-all-of-my-music situations that seem to be somewhat common with iTunes.

I wanted an MP3 player within $ 50 and this one was right on the mark under it. So far I am very satisfied with the Sansa and the great part is that its expandable to about 30 GB MicroSDHC cards so there is plenty of storage for your songs. Build quality is great and it has the cool blue light. Transferring songs is a piece of cake just by drag and drop compared to Apple's itunes which is a pain in a neck to use and has limitations on it also. Battery life is just amazing about a day. Backed by Sandisk warranty its a great product.

I bought my first MP3 player, a reconditioned 2gb Sansa C250, in early November from Buy.com for $14.00! I found it easy to operate and loved the sound quality but found I could not download audible files onto it. When the opportunity arose to buy a 4gb Fuze for $49.00 at Thanksgiving time, again from Buy.com, I pounced!!! The Fuze is fabulous!!! Cnet recently ranked it one of the top 5 players for audio books. Currently, I have 14 unabridged audio books on it, over 9 cds and 4 photos and 1 short video and I still have approx. 700mb left. As I originally said, I have no previous experience with MP3 players so I cannot offer any comparisons with other manufacturers, but I love both of my Sansa players and have just bought a 4gb expansion SD card for my Fuze, also from Buy.com!

This is my second Sansa the first one i bought was for my dad that was 8GB and the one i have is 4GB i would recommend customers to go for 4GB as you have a option to use external memory and the external memory comes at a much cheaper price and that memory you can use in other devices too..I am very much impressed with Sansa i will ask sansa if they can provide AM radio the way they provide FM coz i listen to lot of channels on AM and i think it won"t cost them much to add AM but it think adding AM will be another feather on Sansa hat.........i would recommend this product to any one any given day.

This is very easy to use MP3 player, has simple plug-n-play connectivity, PC immediately recognize it as Sansa Fuze mp3 player. Sandisk included a very decent software to upload pictures, music, and videos are automatically converted for the Fuze. I read poor reviews regarding the original earphones, but i actually feel the Sansa earphones deliver good quality. This is really a good buy... That is why i also bought more than 1 Sansa Fuze mp3 player, got the RED Fuze 4gb and a SILVER Fuze 8gb too. MP3, MP4 video, play FM radio, record FM radio, Audio book, voice recorder, expandable memory with microSDHC. I also got 2 8gb microSDHC. :D A Great gift. :)

Backlight goes out too soon, easy to lose your place, but is a good deal for the money. I love the fast shipping. I would not hesitate to buy it again. Some static from the headphone jack.

This is my first MP3 player and I could not be happier, my only complaint would be that since this was my first, the instructions were not very clear on how to operate it, so it took some playing around to figure it out, other than that, it's fantastic ..

this is a sweet little device. After two weeks of use, I just now had to recharge it. All the functions work and can be figured out without reading the manual. This is a much nicer device coming from an older Dell jukebox with a monochrome screen. Got the deal for $50.00. Day after thanksgiving picked up the same device at BB for 40+tax. The one thing that irks me just a little is the headphone jack on the bottom of the device. Gets in the way when you are holding the player. Otherwise A+.

Got this for listening to the radio mostly but due like to listen to music albums occasionally. It works well and it does allow you to delete from the menu unlike the e200 series. The only Con I noticed is the location of the headset jack. It is on the bottom of the player close to the plug to charge it and it is difficult to unplug the player from the computer without having to unplug the headset.

I bought this MP3 player for my younger brother. He is not a big fan of music, but he does like to carry photos in his phone and to watch movies. This player can play video, pictures, music, fm radio and record voice data. Its a great substitute to the expensive ipods. But what i did not like is the software it comes with> Raphsody is the media player for this device. I don't find the player user friendly, but once you get to know it, you can live with it. It will use any music file you already have to DL into the player. Bottom line: Player excellent. Software somewhat ok.

I got this player a week ago and so far its great. it sounds good the screen is nice. i like the scroll wheel, it makes it look through songs much faster. i got a kingston micro sdhc 8gb card to go with this and it works great. you get 12 gigs of storage with the card and internal memory which is awesome. my whole cd collection fits in one little player.

Very nice product and a great price. The form factor is wonderful and it feels great in the hand. I like the actual rotating dial and using the device once you get the music on to it is easy.</p> For syncing it uses Windows Media Player as one option - no software install required. If you're familiar with WMP, then it's quite easy to get cracking. If not you'll need to know how to create sync lists and proceed from there. Of course it just shows up as another external disc, so you can drag and drop files directly. Only 4 on ease of use as far syncing this thing with the computer goes.</p> Have not tried the radio as yet. </p>I'd get another one of these than the I-Pod anytime.

This is my second MP3 player. I bought this after purchasing a black 4 gb fuze for my daughter. This player is awesome. I have transferred tv programs to watch at work during lunch and moved some of my MP3s to this player. Sound is great and the picture is very nice. Why buy an IPOD 4 gig nano for 150 bucks when this one on sale is 66 bucks!!!! I highly recommend as I rate this one of the best purchases I have ever made.

Easy to setup and use. Only problem is the mini jack cable to my car stereo has to be exactly in one position or it cuts out. I bought a Belden cable and no matter what end is in the Sansa it does it only at the Sansa end.
