5 of 5 Nice feature, works well, great price. Saturday, October 31, 2009 IceT from Maryland
The player comes with ear buds and the data transfer/battery charger cable that connects to a USB port. There is no instruction manual but the pdf document for that can be downloaded from the SanDisk website.
So far I have dragged and dropped MP3 files from my computer to the player using Windows Explorer and that woked fine. The FM radio works well and the voice recorder can record either from the radio or through the built-in microphone. Sound quality is good. The control menu was easy enough to figure out by playing with the buttons, but I did eventually download the instruction pdf from the SanDisk site when the unit locked up and I couldn't reset it. (Reset a frozen player by sliding the spring loaded On/Off switch over and holding it in position for 15-20 seconds).
This is a nice deal for $20 and free shipping. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 If you get one that works..then it's 5STAR! Wednesday, October 28, 2009 Mike from Phila Suburbs
I have 2 other Sansa clips and they were both bought brand new and gave me NO problems.
I love them. They use a standard mini usb port to charge. Drag and drop music storage.
Can download podcasts etc.
Has FM radio. What else could you want in a small inexpensive mp3 player.
Now, I bought this refurb and it froze after about an hour of playing. Took a solid 10 minutes for it to unfreeze. It happened a 2nd time over the course of a week so I decided to RMA it with buy.com (prepaid shipping both ways) and I'm hoping the new one works better than the last!
If it does then it will be a solid deal for $19 shipped 2gb mp3 player. 2gb holds enough music for approx 330 songs. Unless you compress them then it will probably hold over 500.
To the guy that wanted to know if you can attach this to a car stereo. That depends. If you DON'T want to change your car stereo then the only way to connect most mp3 players is to go to the $ store and buy a cassette adapter. It has a cable sticking out of it that plugs into the mp3 headphone jack. (This is the same for every player).
Otherwise you could buy an ipod ($100) and a car stereo with ipod adapter ($150) and then install it to run the ipod.
Last option would be an FM transmitter. You plug it into the mp3 player then tune your car stereo to a "dead station" like 88.3 or something..and whatever is playing on your mp3 player plays on your car stereo. Was this review helpful?

I use this player a lot. It's super handy; you just clip it on and go. This is a great extra MP3 player to have around for exercising, commuting, etc. The FM tuner and voice recorder are a plus. The sound is great and you can customize the EQ. Can't do that on the iPod! Was this review helpful?
4 of 4 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 GREAT little player Wednesday, September 30, 2009 KSquared from Queens, NY
I have a couple of these Sansa Clips and I love them. They are great for the gym or any situation when you don't want to take your more expensive mp3 player. The sound quality with the included headphones was beyond expectations; in fact, it's darn good. Playlists from Windows Media Player were a breeze to transfer. The FM radio and voice recorder are nice options, too. This is a much better option than an Ipod Shuffle and a heck of a lot cheaper. I swear, if Sheeple did a little research on mp3 players and stopped automatically going for Ipods, they would save a lot of money and get a better player. Grab a couple for the price...you won't be disappointed. Was this review helpful?
