1 of 5 Product died in two weeks Sunday, February 22, 2009 Ken from Seattle, WA
Very easy to set up and use. It was nice to have the docking station to both charge and play from. I was totally satisfied until it just quit two weeks after receiving it. Now I am left with a rather expensive charging station. I can still plug the cord to the amplifier directly into the headphone jack on my Sansa e280 but I didn't need the docking station for that. 5 of 5 Sansa base station Thursday, December 25, 2008 Paul from Westminster, MD
Works great, charges the battery and plays through my surround amp. Remote works from across the room at 15 feet no problem. I have a Sansa e280. Was this review helpful?

I wanted a desktop dock for my Sansa MP3 player so I didn't need to horse with cables to manage the files from my computer and charge it at the same time. It's perfect for that.
The remote was not a feature that had value for me, but it was a nice add. Problem is, it is not reall a fully functional remote. It controls a selected music track's volume and can skip forward and back, but there is no other control available. If you want another playlist/artist/album you need to do so at the Sansa device, not through the remote. Not a biggie for me - just a limitation of the remote.
It can also have speakers attached and makes the Sansa simple to use in a fixed location - drop the player into the dock, select music, and play. Very convenient - no fumbling with cables plus it's charging the Sansa, too. Was this review helpful?

First it would be really good to have a paper manual that gives easy to ready and perform instructions. Secondly, it would be good if the remote worked with a new battery in it. It looks nice and the parts fit, but the product doesn't really work. It won't connect to the computer as stated and this is after downloading the update of firmware. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Docking Station is a big plus Wednesday, March 14, 2007 kwokwr from Harvest, Aalbama
The sansa docking station is a big plus, it allows you to dock and charge without the hassles of fining your plug-in port or missing cables, why? because its always connected and it keeps your e250(60,70,80) charged all the time so its ready to go when you are, all you have to do is remember to drop in in the docking station when you get home and in just a few hours your ready to rock! it makes the downloads so much easier, just drag and drop, if its in your cradle its loading, now it so easy even this old 60's guy can do it!
