When I first got my Canon XTI, I tried a no name 2 Gig card that I had for my picture photo frame. It was really slow to write to the camera. "BUSY" is what I would see alot. I went out and purchased an Extreme III 4.0 and have used that for the last two years. Wonderful write speeds to the camera. When I saw the Extreme III 8.0 for half the price I had paid for the 4.0, I ordered as fast as I could. I shoot in large JPEG format and the card will hold over 1700 photos. It's a great buy too!
