Why did I buy this specific product? I have a Nikon DSLR camera. My owner's manual gives a list of "approved" memory for use in the camera. It appears that the 4GB SDHC is the largest card my camera supports, and Sandisk was on the list. Being familiar with Sandisk, and having purchased and satisfactorily used Sandisk products before, I chose that brand from the approved list. In short, I guess I bought this particular product because I have been happy with previous Sandisk products.
How does it work / does it perform well? It's a memory card. I plug it in, it does it's job flawlessly, and life goes on.

This is a nice card, but I discovered, after I bought it, that HDHC is a new SD format and not compatible with older equipment. It doesn't work in my video camera or my computer. It does work in my newer laptop I use for work, so I put my music on it, and it can live in the laptop. For the price I will by more SD cards in the new future. Was this review helpful?
