5 of 5 Great value for the cost Saturday, August 29, 2009
A Customer from NJ

I was sick and tired of using iTunes for iPod. I wanted something fast and easy to use and good sound quality. The sansa fuze is just a perfect mp3 player. It shipped fast, has a very good sound quality and very easy to use. I would recommend it to everyone.

5 of 5 Perfect for audible Saturday, August 29, 2009
A Customer from New York, NY
Feature laden and loosk slick. Feels solid and very well built. I mainly use it to listen to audible books. It's just about perfect. At less than 1/2 the price of an iPod nano, I couldn't be happier about the purchase. The only possible downside is that many iPod docks aren't compatible with Sansa players.

5 of 5 So far so good Monday, April 20, 2009
Pete from Georgia
I have used Sandisk players for years and have been satisfied with them for the most part. The Fuze has a great look and a nice rotating action on the menu pad. Wish it had a lanyard attachment, but other than that... so far so good.

5 of 5 Love my Sansa Fuze Sunday, April 05, 2009
A Customer from Byron, MN
This is a great little MP3 player for the money. I can''t imagine why someone would spend twice and much (or more) on an iPod. While the screen is a bit small for watching video, I can't imagine anyone wanting to watch video on a hand-held device anyway. I know lots of people do, but I don't see the attractiveness of such a feature. If I want to watch video, I'll do it on my TV. The Fuze is primarily a music player and it does that well. I also like the voice record feature. I can also see some usefulness in the photo viewer as well. I like the wheel controller. Overall, a good product. The only knock on it is it does not come with a complete manual; you need to get that from the web site, but in the name of saving trees, this is not a big deal.

The Video and picture screen is very satisfactory. The music quality is great. The Battery last for at least a week. Excellent product. Only negative is that it is a little hard to find the media converter. Once found works FANTASTIC!!

5 of 5 Great bang for the buck. Plus it's just a high-qua Sunday, February 08, 2009
A Customer from Chicago, IL
Build quality is excellent, and the improved navigation wheel is a breeze to use, although it may take some getting used to for those who have been using the iPod touch-wheel. Nonetheless, the wheel is very accurate and a pleasure to twirl. --- The FM tuner is a great feature that really should be commended - even though the "antenna" for the tuner becomes the metallic plug of whichever headphones you're using, I am always surprised by how good and unwavering the FM sound quality is, even better than the tuner on my desktop stereo or my Samsung Omnia. --- Battery life is also quite decent and I find myself recharging it very rarely (it's also convenient that the player quickly charges whenever you connect it to your computer to transfer files - although you can also just buy a $25 "AC to USB Power Adapter" at RadioShack or somewhere online if you want to spend even less). --- I bought this same model but in its 2gb form for a few extra bucks at BestBuy, so the buy.com deal on this 4gb version is great. --- The only negative about the player is, as some have mentioned, the headphones. While they don't sound atrocious, and even have some bass capabilities, they often sound tinny and, more importantly, break very quickly (in 1 player I had one side of the headphones give out completely, and in the other it was acting strange and I had a feeling that it was getting there as well). --- This player is well worth the money, and the fact that it's very lightweight and looks sleek and attractive is definitely a plus.

5 of 5 great MP3 player for the money Thursday, January 15, 2009
Walt from Seattle, WA
I upgraded from my slightly older Sansa which I loved. I decided to go with the Sansa Fuze with more memory. I am delighted with the unit. The unit is smaller without any loss of functions. As an aside, I had difficulty installing the Rhapsody program that came with the unit but that has nothing to do with the Fuze.

5 of 5 Great product at a great price Tuesday, December 30, 2008
Arnab from Farmington, CT
Love the functionality of the player; the click wheel really makes it easy to navigate. It's small and slick. I picked up the player for $65 w/ ship and was well worth the money. The key to maintaining the mp3s on the player is to use windows media player 11, otherwise sometimes it's painful. Also - I'm not thrilled about the proprietary connector, but it works fine. The headphones are garbage and will need to be swapped out w/ panasonics or sonys.

5 of 5 Very nice Tuesday, December 23, 2008
Joyce from Milan, Tennessee
I recieved my Sandisk MP3 player and was very pleased with all the features that was on it. The price was nice for all you get with the MP3 player. I saw a lot of them before I bought this one. The other products were more money and less features. I would recomend this to everyone. Easy to operate also.

5 of 5 awesome loved it Friday, December 19, 2008
Tony Gaston from Bellechester,MN
I got this as a gift for a friend... it works like a charm... I pre-loaded a number of songs and videos as well as three episodes of various TV series he loves... and all i used up was around 1 gig... plenty of room for more... the only thing i miss from the earlier models is the continuous scrolling feature from earlier models... oh well I guess one must not look too closely ... they are bond to find a flaw somewhere... but i really did like that feature...

5 of 5 Best Value in MP3 Players Thursday, December 18, 2008

5 of 5 Excellent value for the money. Wednesday, December 17, 2008
Richard Muntjanoff from Aurora, Illinois
The Sansa player is very easy to use and of excellent quality. It can be registered with SanDisk for a one year warrantee. The complete instruction manual is also available on line from SanDisk and also another websight for viewing or downloading. It is very easy to load using a Mac with an OSX operating system. Can use drag and drop method since the computer automatically recognizes the player.

5 of 5 Much Nicer Than I Expected Wednesday, December 17, 2008
A Customer from Bradford, PA
Bought 2 of these as Christmas gifts. Was very pleasantly surprised by how much better these little players were than I expected for the price. Would definitely recommend them as a low-priced alternative to an actual I-Pod (which I also own), plus you don't have to fight with the I-Tunes software. I encountered a few little problems with the Sansa interface program to add media such as pictures and videos to the player, but these can be easily worked through once you understand it.

5 of 5 Great value, easy to use and high quality unit Monday, December 15, 2008
A Customer from Oklahoma City, OK
I am still discovering all the features on the Sansa Fuze because this the first MP# player I have every purchased. I am a beginner using this technology but have been able to perform the basics and when I have more time to play with it and read the guide, I am confident I can download podcasts, videos, etc. GREAT VALUE $49.99 and free shipping! I wish I had bought another for my college age niece!

5 of 5 simple impressive: sansa fuze 4gb-black Sunday, December 14, 2008
A Customer from Fishers, IN
PRO: small size-weight, friendly menu, plays latest audio formats, sd/sdhc compatible, copy-paste audiofiles as simple as that, i have to recharge every 1 or 2 days depending on volume level, video-photo-fm-recorder features a plus, got it at 58.00. CONS: descent volume but not loud enough for me, it cant create personal playlist so i have to create them on my computer and upload it on player, takes a while probably a minute to refresh itself everytime i switch sdhc cards (4gb, full of mp3s).. At the end, CONS arent much of a big deal, as long as it keeps working like it does for a looong time :P defenitely recommend it, it does the job, btw havent updated firmware yet

5 of 5 MP3 Player without the hassle Tuesday, December 09, 2008
A Customer from Louisa, VA
I love this player. 49.99 at Buy.com. I use it mainly for MP3 music and audible audio books. It works great for both of those file types. Purchased a 4 gig micro SDHC card for 8 bucks on Buy.com and turned my 4 gig into an 8 gig player. The voice recorder is very good as well. I would recommend this player to anyone that needs a great MP3 player at half the cost of comparable high end players. If music and audio books are your thing. This is the player for you. Video, and pictures are just gravy. The size of this player is a big improvement over the E200 series. For just under $48 I have a serious music juke box.

4 of 5 Little player with not so little functionality Thursday, November 27, 2008
Dannyboyw from Charlottesville, VA
Perfect little player! Shows up as a mass storage device, so you don't have to use idiotic iTunes. Solid state technology! Expanadable with MicroSD or MicroSDHC, which is awesome! Fast menu navigation! Display is easily readable! Cheap/Disposable if need be (for about $70 I got the 4GB player and a 4GB MicroSDHC = an 8GB player---sweetness)!!! My only two beefs (indicated by the 4 rating for overall satisfaction) is that you can only create one playlist on the fly: the "GoList" (that I am aware of). Also I had an old RCA player that let you browse by file structure/filenames (i.e. through folders and files), which was awesome--- maybe SanDisk will code this into an upcoming firmware release [Hint, hint SanDisk]. This is helpful if the ID3 info is not good, but the filename is good. Photos and video require special software, but not really a drawback for me, since I bought it to play MP3s. The firmware is easily updated, so I look forward to added functionality. This little player will help break your iPod addiction or in my case help me get over my iPod hatred.

4 of 5 Great and Easy to use Sunday, November 02, 2008
A Customer from St. Louis, MO
-I love that you can open the sansa with any music program you have or just as a folder and drag and drop/copy and paste. -It will automatically notice the song title and artist from the song. -Battery lasts so long it's awesome -Sometimes I use it as a flash drive -Only con: video's are harder to load onto it and find. -Buy.com takes a while when free shipping like 8-10 business days

5 of 5 Cool Product Thursday, October 09, 2008
Tah from Brooklyn, NY
I got this player to replace my iPod video because I refuse to replce the battery. It is a great replacement for an iPod and it works great. Putting music on it is easy weather you do drag-and-drop or sync it usig windows media player. Expandable memory and fm tuner are also a plus. Got it yesterday and there's already a firmware update. Nice!

5 of 5 Sweet Ingenuity Friday, September 26, 2008
jerry_toquica from Tampa, FL
Out of the box and in my hands this Sansa has a nice feel and weight to it. I have the black 4 gb version and it is very slick looking a very nice aesthetic look. I hooked up the USB cable to the computer and turned on RealPlayer and it recognized it immediately. Transferring Music, Pics and Video was smooth and pain free. The radio picked up my station, jazz by the way, very crisp clarity. The screen is bright and the menu was simple and to the point. I added more music through the MicroSd slot with no problem. This is actually my first MP3 player as I thought this was a good deal and it was since Walmart had the same for $ 25.00 more. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it. The only drawback I have is that using the wheel mostly to go forward on the music or anytime I need to use it for that matter seems to dip ever so slightly to the right and hence rise on the left side.

5 of 5 Sandisk's Best Ever Thursday, September 25, 2008
gbogolfnut from Greensboro, NC
I have several MP3 players, mostly Sandisk and Creative. They are getting smaller and with more capacity and features. This one has variable fast forward, nice volume and selection wheel, great battery life. Like other Sandisks, you can play Netlibrary and Overdrive audiobooks. I like the slim size and volume capabiility, enough power to play on my car's auxilliary plug through my stereo system. I put a screen protector on the screen, because I had read about how easy it is to scratch, so no problems there. It uses the same cable as my Sandisk E-series. Haven't tried the microSD slot.

5 of 5 Best cheapest i-pod Thursday, September 25, 2008
A Customer from Duluth, Georgia
I bought FUZE black in 59.99 with free shipping. Price for this all in one mp3 player isn't that bad. I really like this mp3 player. PRO:- -record the FM radio on the fly -store songs up to 4-8gb -extended memory card for extra memory -good battery life -slim, sleek and stylish design -very smooth scrolling pad -drag and drop for songs and pictures CON:- -software is not hard to use for video convert but its hard to install in computer specially in vista. -can't drag and drop videos you have to use Sansa converter for transfer videos in it.

5 of 5 Great mp3 player Thursday, September 25, 2008
Quang Nguyen from Seattle, WA
So far I'm very pleased with my SanDisk Fuze. The performance is awesome and I especially like the FM receiver and the expanded MicroSD slot. Though I have yet to use it, it'll be useful as my library expands. I had trouble syncing with my Vista box though. I upgraded my firmware and all and the SanDisk support responsive but I have yet the time to try their suggestions. I plugged it into my XP Windows box and it sync just fine. Everyone I have showed it to thinks is great and wants one.

5 of 5 Great value-perfect size-what a deal! Thursday, September 25, 2008
Bessie from Florida
Love the size and the price. I own an Applie Ipod Classic that I keep mainly for use in the home and thought it would be a good idea to have an inexpensive, small one to walk and travel with......boy, was I right. If it gets lost, stolen, or damaged, it won't hurt like the $250 Ipod would. It's easy but not quite as easy to navigate in and out of the music lists as the Ipod. But, for the price, who cares. I'd like to figure out how to go back to the menu quickly & easily from playing a song. Either I haven't figured it out yet, or, is just isn't so smooth. But, no great problem. I'd recommend the Fuze to everyone.

5 of 5 This Player is Great! Wednesday, September 24, 2008
A Customer from Keyport, N.J.
I've had a few MP3 players before, but this one is the best I've had. In comparison to the Ipod, this has most of the same features for less than half the price. It's even slightly smaller than the new Ipod Nano, so other than the screen being a tiny bit smaller, it's nice and compact but easy to use. Plus it's upgradable! It has a memory slot on the side to add more memory. I'm probably going to get another 8gb module for it as soon as the price goes down a little on the memory.

5 of 5 Super value Wednesday, September 24, 2008
A Customer from Cincinnati, OH
Works well compared to other machines on the market. Directions could be better, and dial selection mode is not intuitive. I have not figured out all of the ways to use this thing, in part because of brief instructions. Otherwise, very sleek and nice size. Fabric sleeve seems a little chintzy.

5 of 5 A Solid Value Wednesday, September 24, 2008
A Customer from Dover, DE
I bought this player on buy.com sale for $59.99 with free shipping to replace a Sansa e200 that had been dropped and then run over in the parking lot. Since the retail price for this player at Best Buy is $99.99 I was ahead of the game from the get-go. The player interface is easy to use. Sound quality is good if you upgrade from the ear buds that ship with the player. Video playback is pretty smooth. The only criticism I have is the third-party video media converter that runs on the desktop. It's not intuitive or well documented. There aren't any options for tuning frame rate, etc.

A Customer from Winchester, California
I've had the Sansa Fuze for about three weeks now and I've only charged it once. I'm using it five days a week at 90 minute intervals each day now that is an amazing battery life for one charge. It replaced my Zune that needed recharging every other day.

Thin, wide screen (relatively), and 4 gig memory, with a micro-SDHC slot. Easy to use intuitive controls. No problems so far loading and manipulating files. I did upgrade the ear buds. Haven't tried the video feature yet. A value for about $60.

4 of 5 great product Tuesday, September 23, 2008
A Customer from Naperville, IL
Pros: great value. easy to use. Great for audiobook user. It can automatically bookmark any audiobook files if 1. you put file under audiobook folder or 2 the file type is marked as audiobook. it asks you whether to resume or start over next time when you open a audiobook file. Actual usable capacity is twice as much as a same capacity ipod as it plays wma file while ipod does not. Cons: searching does not accelerate as ipods. standard USB cord can't be used.

5 of 5 Great Player,Great Price Tuesday, September 23, 2008
Boruch from Far Rockaway, N.Y.
My wife has a Ipod Nano My son has an Ipod Touch, but this Mp3 player fills my needs even better. The voice recorder, expandable memory, FM radio and ease of use says it all. I had bought a Sansa 260 series player which I still own but waiting for the unit to start up drove me crazy. There are also a number of improvements in the software on the Fuze worth noting. You now can load video directly on to the external memory card, which increases the flexability tremendously. Plus the unit can be used as a micro SD card reader as well. Just plug it into a USB port and Windows XP opens either the hard drive or the SD card for drag and drop ease. One complaint is that few aftermarket companies make accessories for San Disk. I had a hard time finding a case for the Fuze but eventually bought the Sansa 3 in 1 Fuze Kit (Armband, Travel Case, & Leather-Grained Protective Glove)that works pretty well. The video palyer works well too! All in all this unit does everything quite well and $59.95 for the 4GB version is a steal. I added a 4GB Micro SD card and have a total of 8GB of memory at my disposal. So far I have no complaints.

5 of 5 Awesome Device Tuesday, September 23, 2008
senorkc from Louisville, Colorado
Had a Sansa C240 which worked fairly well, but tended to lock up occasionally. Getting close to maximum capacity onto the C240 was also an exercise in patience and luck. The Fuze, in contrast, has been working flawlessly since I received it a few weeks ago. Putting music, pictures and video onto it is a breeze, and the device is very, very intuitive and user friendly. Being able to record directly from the radio is handy in order to remind myself of music that I would like to get if I'm out and about and hear a song that I like. In short, I highly recommend this device - especially for the awesome low prices found on Buy.com

5 of 5 A Nice, Small MP3 Device That's Cheap Tuesday, September 23, 2008

I'll keep this short... I purchased the Fuze after lugging around a Creative Zen Vision:M around for a year and a half. I don't watch videos or view pictures, so all I needed was a music player w/ FM tuner that was compact yet easy to use. The Fuze met all my expectations, and is even more intuitive than I thought it would be. I am 100% glad I ditched the big and bulky Vision:M for this- it's literally 1/4 it's size.

Easy to use, video quality is good. Never owned an ipod, but can't imagine considering one AND I'm not captive to iTunes. Drag and drop is nice. Great price, fast shipment.

4 of 5 Great device, Great price, Acceptable service Saturday, September 20, 2008
kdn from Houston, TX
I was a little apprehensive about purchasing from BUY.COM because there are so many complaints about its customer service and delivery time. However, the price was too good to pass up. I thought the reward outweighs the risk, so I decided to take the leap of faith and bought the Sansa Fuze from Buy.com. I choose the free 1 to 2 weeks shipping, and it arrives exactly 2 weeks after the order date. That was the best leap I have ever performed. This is one the best purchase I have ever made. Pros: The Sansa Fuze is very compact, light, easy to use, has expandable memory slot, and long battery life. I have to say that the scroll wheel is the highlight of this device, similar to iPOD. It provides an efficient way to browse through data. Cons: It does not come with a/c charger. The only way we recharge the battery is to connect its Proprietary USB cord, doubles as a transfer cable, to a computers USB port. In addition, the device gets warm when it’s connected to a computer for too long, which is normal I guess. It has all the features necessary for school, work, and fun. This is my first MP3 player and I could not have chosen a better one if a better one was placed in front of me. I highly recommend this product.

5 of 5 Replacement MP3 Player Tuesday, August 19, 2008
Michael P. Banek from Amityville, NY
I lost my SanDisk 8 GB player. I bought the SanDisk Sansa Fuze MP3 Player with 4 GB as a half-price replacement. It has all the quality of the 8GB SanDisk Player and is very easy to use. Someday, when I need it, I will get the 8GB player, but for now, the 4 GB Fuze is proving to be a great replacement for the money. I highly recommend it.
