I use this 4G card for casual photography in a Canon 10Mp EOS digital rebel. Compared with the Ultra II, the speed to store a picture of the largest size/density is not noticable between the two. What is nice, is with a 10mp camera, the camera indicates the 4GB card will hold 890 pictures. I'm not sure if the advertised speed difference kicks in as the card gets fuller and fuller, but at a low number of shots (less than 20), there is no noticable speed difference - save the bucks and get the Ultra II while they're available. I am using this bad boy on my Canon Rebel XT digital camera. Works great. I love the extra memory this allows me. I was using a 2 GB stick that was a little slow that came with the camera package. This one seems just perfect for the XT. I am able to do burst captures of rapid action with no worries now. Love it. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Great Memory Card for shooting RAW Friday, November 23, 2007

I'm a Professional Photographer and shoot strictly RAW files with my Nikons. I purchased 2 of these 4GB Extreme cards, Most of the time I can get around 22-25 Burst shots off before my internal memory is full but the card writes much faster then my normal SanDisk cards. With the reg. card I could only get about 12-15 shots off before the buffer was full because of the slowdown on the writing to the card. Uploading to my PC & Laptop is faster as well using a USB 2.0 card reader and the SanDisk photo reading software included. Right now it's also a good deal because you get a FREE download for CaptureONE LE RAW conversion/processing software (like $99 value) AND RESCUE PRO Recovery software included on the memory disk. So the software alone is worth the purchase. Great Flash Memory though, I highly reccomend it. Was this review helpful?
