I am a long time user of SanDisk products and find them to be very reliable. I have never had a failure with any of their products. That does not mean that you may never have a problem with their product, but I can safely write that their products are much better than most that I have used in the past. Just something to keep in mind, when taking pictures (which I take alot of) it is safer to buy smaller memory chips than very large ones. If you purchase a 16gig chip and it becomes defective, you would have lost a tremendous amount of photos. The purchase of 4 4gig chips will ensure that if one of them goes bad, you will still have 3 chips which will have your photos. If you went on vacation and lost all of your photos because you bought on large chip just so you would not have to change chips you are going to be VERY UPSET! I hope this will help you. This is a very nice card with nice read/write speed at a very great price.
I am using it with my Nikon D70 and replaced my cold Sandisk Extreme 512MB card and now even Ultra II is faster in read write.

I was able to purchase this SanDisk 2GB CF for just $12.99. It's definitely the best bang for the buck. I currently have it in my Canon Digital Rebel. I used to have a TREND 4GB CF card but the write time was pretty bad. I took 3 pictures in burst mode and it took the camera a good while to write. But with this SanDisk CF even though it may not be the fastest, it took a fraction of the time to write data and my SLR was ready to take more pictures again. A newer SLR may not have this problem because the onboard flash might be big enough to compensate. Was this review helpful?

This is the 7th Ultra II series Compact Flash card I've bought because of the reliability. I have rarely experienced slow-loading with this version CF card, and have not had a failure in over 10,000 shots over my cards. It's been a good deal for the money for me. I bought several of these to use with a camera and as a new form of backup for financial data. They perform as advertised. having 2 GB of space means I don't have to change out the memory as often in the camera. The speed is consistent with the camera, so there's no waiting for the memory to load between rapid shots. the camera doesn't do video, so I can't comment on that. Was this review helpful?
