The card plugged in and worked great. We didn't want to risk compatibility on the cheaper, no-name cards for a $10 difference. Rock Band 2 can put downloaded songs onto the card and manage them over there. Don't copy the Rock Band 2 content manually using the WII like we first did. Use the functions inside of Rock Band 2 to copy the songs to the card, that way the list of songs stays updated with where the songs are located. Got ours from BeachAudio and they shipped same day via normal mail, so we're happy with their service. Postal mail tracking leaves a lot to be desired (the card arrived before the post office site was updated with any information) but that isn't BeachAudio's fault. Was this review helpful?

I bought a regular 2GB SanDisk SD card at a quarter of the price as this one, and compared it with this model. The Wii SD card is the older Class 2 model, while the card I bought for far less money is a newer Class 4 model. Both cards work equally well. The difference is the price, making the Wii-branded SD card a complete rip-off.

I bought two of these 2G cards from SanDisk { http://www.sandisk.com/Products/Catalog(1006)-Gaming_Cards.aspx } because they were cheaper than Buy.com at the time for both my son's and nephew's Wiis. Easy to install. After installing a 2GSD card, the Wii seemed to run a little faster when we were using 4 controllers; we didn't notice a difference with only two playing. I got this product from Buy.com for less than $20, which was cheaper than other SanDisk 2GB SD cards. Let me tell you, it was a GREAT deal! The card works perfectly, as SanDisk is a top-quality brand, and the price was/is beyond compare (as of 28 NOV 2007, best price for SanDisk 2GB SD card is $24 before shipping).
