5 of 5 Works as promised Wednesday, July 09, 2008 Dave from Madison, CT
I use it a few times a week and it works. I like the size because it easily fits in my pocket. Will probably get another one for my wife. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 It is a good one Saturday, July 05, 2008 A Customer from lo sngeles ca
easy to use, good reception and fit comfortably in my ear. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 I can finally stop shopping! This one is IT. Tuesday, July 01, 2008 Renee from Haughton, LA
I can hear clearly and the folks I'm talking to can hear me. Truly hands free operation. With my old BTH, I had to press the unit against my ear to be able to hear which sucked. This one stays in my ear. That was my primary concern after reading other reviews was that it would fall out of my ear unnoticed. Not the case. With the 3 different sized ear buds, I was able to custom fit to my ear. Super lightweight and compact. Was this review helpful?

Small bluetooth and great reception! Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Not bad at all Tuesday, July 01, 2008 Ooffa Loofa from Phila, PA
Nice headset. Only problem that I had was that the supplied earbuds (which come in S, M, and L) did not provide the greatest fit in my ear...they did not go into the ear enough. I replaced them with some from a set of Ultimate Ears earphones and everything works great. Might just be my weird ears. Sound quality is great. A little too easy to redial but otherwise great. 4 of 5 Very good value Monday, June 30, 2008 A Customer from Glendale, CA
Pro: compact, easy to use, and works well. battery life is pretty good. good value.
Con: no ear hook, easily become loose when touching buttons; hard to grip buttons since the buttons are tiny too.
Note: didn't seem to require passcode when connecting w/ my phone, hope i didn't get a fake. Was this review helpful?
1 of 5 Might be a good product, if it stayed in your ear. Monday, June 30, 2008 Kirk from Ogden, UT
I am not sure how well this thing works becasue I never even charged the thing up. I tried it on and could not get the thing to stay in my ear. It did not matter which of the ear pieces that I used. I am frustrated that they did not provide an optional earhook for people that need them. I think my ear is pretty average, so I am sure that I am not the only one that has had this problem. My suggestion would be to go try it on in a local store before ordering it online. Was this review helpful?
1 of 5 Horrible product Saturday, June 21, 2008 Manshu from Indianapolis, IN
This thing doesn't stick in the ear at all, i've tried all three sizes but nothing works well. What is the use of good reception and sound quality if it doesn't stay inside the ear. Was this review helpful?
1 of 5 Too easy to re-dial Tuesday, April 15, 2008 Charlie from Leeds, ME
The Samsung WEP410 headset is lightweight, compact, comfortable to wear and has excellent listening sound quality, but there are some problems from my persepctive:
First, it seems too vulnerable to some kinds of interference -- people with whom I am talking will sometimes say that the sound is cutting out. I assume that radio interference must be involved, because there is no obvious environmental cause.
Second - and this may be a purely personal preference - I find the configuration of the multi-function button to be very user-unfriendly. The slightest tap will send the re-dial signal to the phone. This has resulted in a number of unintended calls, sometimes at inopportune times of the day. This would be less of a problem if I hadn't acquired habits from using a previous headset on which a long button press was used for redialing, and shorter taps were used to activate voice dialing, connect, or answer. Even allowing for this, however, I think it is a mistake to associate redialing with such a featherlight push of the button - it's just too easy to initiate a call this way when handling the headset, e.g. taking it from your pocket to put it on your ear, or vice versa (the latter being particularly annoying for the person who receives the unexpected call-back). By contrast, the press required to turn the unit on or off is absurdly long. Finally, the confirmation tones for medium-length button presses are very faint even when listening volume is quite loud - this makes it more challenging to know that you are sending your phone the signal that you intend to. The easy-redial problem has been sufficiently troublesome that I have already replaced this headset with a Jabra JX-10 series II, which behaves more like my old headset and spares those whom I call the unexpected second conversation. 3 of 5 Should be better Saturday, March 29, 2008 A Customer from Trumbull, CT
Pros: Very small, nice charger
Cons: No noise cancellation, single button always wrong.
-- I was debating between this unit and the Motorola H700, which 2 people I know have and love. I went with this one because it was in stock and I liked the compact size. Big mistake. People can easily hear every bit of background noise and they frequently ask me if I'm on a headset or speaker phone! My old H-850 was much better until my son broke it.
The other issue is the multi-purpose button. While it has discrete volume up/down buttons, the main button turns the unit on and off, redials, etc. I frequently find that I have inadvertantly placed a call when I did not mean to. I also have a hard time pressing the button for the right amount of time to initiate a voice dial instead of redial.
The flaws make it hard to recommend this headset. There are better choices out there. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Samsung WEP410 Bluetooth Headset Sunday, December 02, 2007 A Customer from California
Pro: Stylish, easy of use, clear sound, more functions, small and light, comfortable to wear.
Con: charging interface not competible even to samsung cell phone charger, mic has difficult to perform voice calling.
Overall satisfied with two months usage. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Love this unit Sunday, December 02, 2007 A Customer from OC, California
I've gone through about 4 other headsets before settling with this one. Tiny and compact. Smooth pairing and stayed paired tiwht my phone all the time, even after I turn on/off my phone or the headset, they automatically pick up each other without any problem. Liked the snap-into-ear design over those Motorola ones (H700 or H80) which use a hook to stay on.
The big answer/redial button took some time to get used to though. It's way too easy to press on it accidentally and re-dial the last dialed number. I've annoy my friends too many times by doing that during the first week of use. Then it gets better after I started to remember handling the unit by grabbing the sides rather than the surface...
Anyway, other than this annoyance, this is a perfect unit for my SonyEricsson 810i Was this review helpful?

4 of 5 Tiniest headset! Wednesday, November 28, 2007 waterpouch from sf, ca
I know it's tiniest, and I really loved it, until I lost it.
When I ran with it in the pocket, I guess it jumped out, and is now gone. If you have one, I suggest you keep it in your bag. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Samsung WEP410 Bluetooth Headset is simply awesom Wednesday, November 28, 2007 Vikas from Santa Clara, CA
I bought this product from buy.com couple of months ago and I am using this every day. This is an awesome product and the quality was great. I am using this only while driving and the battery is lasting for a week and I have no issues with this. Was this review helpful?

4 of 5 Good product Wednesday, November 28, 2007 A Customer from Liverpool, NY
This has a very clean and clear sound and the mic is very sensative. The only thing I don't like is it occationally falls out of my ear. I also wish it had some kind of clip to keep it in my ear, but that is also the reason I got it. I have a Jabra that feels like it will fall out unless you have it in perfectly but it has a clip so it doesn't. I got this one because the Jabra is very uncomfortable after wearing it for extended periods which this one isn't. Overall a good product. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 the bottom line... Wednesday, November 28, 2007 A Customer from NY NY

Pros:

-It's inexpensive

-it syncs easily with phone

-has good sound

-it's small

Cons:

-Since it's only held by inserting it in ear, I fear it falling out and getting lost

-an improved design would have a safety line that clips to one's collar.
5 of 5 Cant go wrong w samsung Tuesday, November 27, 2007 A Customer from Anaheim, CA
Only use when in my car, so i consider myself a light user of the BTHS. Unit lasts 3-4 days charges in about 1 hour Noise reduction works nicely, small & light.
Negatives i find are. Turning it on (5 sec) Turning it off (8 sec) of holding power button down. Could be shorter.
Volume level could be higher. i can hear fine at high speeds, but would like it louder
rubber ear pieces they give you, all of them DONT fit right. maybe i got retarded ears Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 Good Headset Tuesday, November 27, 2007 A Customer from Mexico
Fantastic sound and reception. The only major drawback is the battery life of the unit. I have to charge it every day! I only talk about 90 minutes a day and I have to charge it overnight, if not it will die on me the following day. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Best Bang for the Buck Tuesday, November 27, 2007 A Customer from Collegeville, PA
I have tried many low cost headsets in the past year, and this one is the best, hands down (pun intended). I saw others complaining about the unit falling out of their ear. Mine fits well with the medium adapter, but even if it didn't, it came with a snap-on, over-the-ear |
