An excellent camera for my purposes. Small, lightweight, easy to use, functional, and efficient. The added software is a perfect compliment to this wonderful electronic device. 7.2 mega pixels gave me the perfect resolution with precise controls for editing. Recommended for the scientific mind with discriminating taste.

I was one of the first to buy a samsung camera in my group of friends. Initially I was skeptical about the performance of NV3, but once I received it and started fiddling with the controls, I discovered that the camera is an amazing one. Its a perfect blend of all features. As samsung terms it the "convergence", it truly lives up to the expectations. Overall very good picture, sound and video quality. I definitely felt its worth every penny I paid for it. Lastly, I was also very happy with the service from Buy.com.

I never write reviews unless I have to. However this camera is a deal, easily worth twice as much. All the complaints I read are crap, the flash is powerful, the images look great it is simple to use. The unit itself feels so solid and high quality in your hand. It just feels expensive. It is very small and seems easy to use, just point and shoot, or dig into the menu for manual controls. The only thing I don't like is the special Samsung connector on the camera is proprietary and not the usual mini usb. Also I have problems trying to watch the video footage I shot with it on my pc, (Vista) I guess you have to use Samsungs' software to view the video and I could not get that software to work at all with Vista. Great deal though, awesome camera for the money! Perfect camera for a chick, they love it!

If purchasing the Samsung NV3, the primary use should just be a digital point and shoot camera. The MP3 player isn't worth considering. With that in mind, this 7.2 megapixel camera is awesome for a novice who enjoys taking and printing photographs. I think it has a lot of neat features which for me were easy to figure out without the manual. It's also very stylish, small and has a great 2.5 inch screen. I have photographed and photoshopped many images which have recieved compliments from my friends and coworkers.

It is metal body. So you have solid feel in your hand, not cheap plastic( likw Motorola RAZR v.s. whatever) Pic. quality is good. Red eyes reduction almost useless. Sleek. Manual is not clear ion some places.

I have had this camera for just about a week now and I love it! The picture quality is amazing at 7.2 megapixels, and the camera's look is slick and the outer casing is made of brushed steel. The multimedia features are a very nice touch. I've watched a few videos and listened to many songs on it (the sound quality is also quite good for such a small camera.) Also, the battery life is pretty long, letting the camera take roughly 200 pictures. The only reason I gave the camera a 4 on "ease of use," is because the NV3's user manual isn't very helpful while trying to figure out how to actually put music/movies onto the camera, but I figured it out. Besides this very slight setback, the camera is superb! The multimedia functions are not there to make up for a lack of picture quality; they only enhance the camera. I highly recommend the Samsung NV3.
