We were spending a fortune on inkjet cartridges because we do a lot of printing, checks, invoices, purchase orders, estimates, etc. This laser printer is so much faster, and the cartridge prints up to 8,000 pages! It is really making our life in the office easier. It's quiet, easy to operate, and prints envelopes also. We are glad we found this on Buy.com Was this review helpful?

After a few weeks of heavy use (printing many accounting reports), the following are my thoughts:
1. Excellent speed of printing
2. Very easy to setup
3. Quick to go from sleep mode to printing in the morning
4. Good size (certainly not bulky or taking up too much space)
5. No misfeads or jams
6. Quality isn't great with graphics, However, I have been running the machine in "toner save" mode, so this probably has much to do with that. on that subject, like the mode of using toner sparingly, as most of our printing is internal stuff where quality and sharpness are least of concern.
7. the one strange thing (which may happen with other similar printers) is that when i ran reports with many pages (200+ consecutive pages), the ink smell that came from the machine was almost unbearable when close to the machine. it does cool down quickly though. if you will be printing large jobs, i would suggest a well ventilated area. 4 of 5 Happy with comments Sunday, July 29, 2007 A Customer from Seattle, WA
Overall, the printer works great, it's easy to operate the features and the software that comes with it is very good. The only downside is the noise level; I was a bit surprised by how "loud" it is when warming up and printing. Being so used to the relative quieteness of HP printers, if noise is a consideration, I would probably recommend another model or brand. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Plug and Play as it should be Tuesday, April 10, 2007 Rob Zapata from Nashville, TN
While the manual is a little sketchy, I was able to plug the printer in had it running as a network printer in less than 30 minutes. Text is sharp and clear. Paper handling is excellent. Envelopes were easy to print. Starts up fast. Makes some noise in sleep mode, but not enough to notice in a normal office setup. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Value Thursday, March 15, 2007 A Customer from New Jersey
This is a great printer for the price. Network addressable and easy to set up. No complaints about the machine at all, but am curious to see how it lasts overall. Was this review helpful?
