This is a very easy unit to setup. All wires are clearly marked and match the corresponding speaker, so there is no guessing. I also got the SWA3000 wireless transmitter. Make sure you put the chip in the main unit correctly. It linked up perfectly so I did not have to run wires to the back of the room. You will have to increase the volumn level of the back speakers to balance out the sound. It is especially good for a smaller room. The unit produces good sound for movies, but not terrific on music. The Dolby PLII really provides good effects on every station on cable You can read a review at CNET where it received a 7.1 out of 10 rating. For the price and rating you cannot beat it.
