Very nice! Once I figured out how to hook everything up, I love listening to my surround sound system, the sound is great, the looks of the home theatre is good too. Great Deal. The 5 disc changer, makes it easy to enjoy a day of watching movies!

Upon opening the carton, I found the sub woofer to be damaged. Oddly, no damage to the outside carton or packing material. Although usable, a call to Samsung tech support promptly replaced the woofer in about 7 days. I did research including listening to several systems before I settled in on the HT-TX75. The room I have it in is 16x24. Setup was quick and the sound is excellent ! The system is easy to use.

My first 5.1 system, so can't compare to other systems. (Thus the 4 on value, no basis for comparison, but I feel I got a good deal.) A few times on powerup it has failed to load any disc. When that happens, hitting the on/off button about three cycles will get it working. Sound quality is good considering the cost. I got it in conjunction with the wireless receiver (which is the "wireless ready" part) and am pleased with the ease and convenience, and can't hear any degradation in performance. I have it in my basement and with a NIN concert disc and the DVD player set at 1/2 volume, it will shake the whole house. When the DVD changer is powered up, my Mac Mini also attached to the plasma display will fail to connect to WiFi or Bluetooth - the DVD player must be putting out a lot of noise. Having a 5 disc changer is both good and bad - nice to not have to swap discs, but way too easy to sit back and watch many movies in a row! Remote is passable but not good. The slow speed playback is buried in a bunch of tiny buttons, removed from the fast forward. They put a zillion buttons on the remote to support XM radio and USB devices - I'd rather have a cleaner remote with good support for DVD playing, and on-screen menus for things like "test tone". Not a perfect device, but I'm pleased overall.

Bought this system in early June. Set up was easy, just needed to hook up the HDMI output to the TV and it was ready to go. The only problem was that I couldn't watch regular Standard Definition TV channels with it (HD channels are fine). Checked with the tech support at Samsung, they as well as the tech at Comcast, couldn't help. Not sure what caused the issue. But I'm fine because I mainly use the system for watching DVD. The sound from the system is great; it is clear even I crank it up to as loud as I can bare. The base is not extremely strong as expected from a HTIB system, but it is decent enough for me. I recommend this system to anyone who wanted something simple and stylish and sounds great.
