My only complaint having received the set yesterday is that it offers PIP but it is not included. YOu need a second tuner or external device in order for the PIP to function as the unit does not have a second tuner built in. I may have missed that in the descrition and if I did then it is my bad. Other than that the setup is fast and easy and the picture is great. I wouldn't send it back because of the PIP problem, but seeing it had it was one of the reasons I chose the instead of other displays. Was this review helpful?

I purchased the Samsung HP-T4254 in 7/07 from Buy.com. They sent my TV by freight and I received it in great condition a few days later. I am using this TV in my bedroom so I was not concerned with the TV only having a native resolution for 720p instead of 1080p. 720p is still has very good picture quality on this TV. In my bedroom I don't have HD satellite, but the picture still looks good. I did purchase a Samsung HD dvd player and ran the HMDI from the DVD player to the TV and wow what difference in picture. The speakers built-in to the TV are fine for the bedroom. Plenty of good sound with SRS sound feature turned on. I have made some adjustments to the TV using the menus and I am very happy with my purchase. If you purchase devices like HD DVD players, HD Satellite, and some home receivers that have HDMI outputs you can have much less cables running behind the TV. Also probably the most important decision maker... I had an issue during setting up the TV and I called Samsung on their 800 number and within minutes the problem I was having was fixed with a little tech support. Was this review helpful?
