I love this monitor. Had it for over 2 years and it has worked perfectly. No dead pixels anywhere. Nice color, contrast. I would recommend this product to anyone. Cons - no height adjustment. Otherwise, works perfectly.

I use it as a second monitor on my Mac and it does a good job. Not the greatest image quality but very satisfactory for what I use it for.

We are quite satisfied with the performance of our Samsung and would certainly highly recommend it to anyone. It is somewhate more expensive tnan others available, but the rebate makes it more palatable and competitive. My wife was quite surprised at how more dramatic her pictures look on this widescreen than the other monitor we had.

Great picture quality. No dead pixels or other oddities. I am VERY satisfied. To those folks with complaints about blurry text or stretched images - PLEASE use the DVI connection and set your resolution to 1440X900. If you don't do BOTH of these, you won't be satisfied. If your video card doesn't support these it is time to upgrade. You won't be sorry.

I like the 19" monitor. It fits nicely on my desk. This monitor was purchased for gaming and is outstanding. This monitor is also HDCP equipped which is a big plus. You will be very satisfied with Samsung, nice 3 year warranty.

I am very impressed by the sharpness of this monitor. Buy.com's service was outstanding. I order on a Monday with free shipping, and received it on Wednesday. My only complaint is the resolution, but I knew that when I bought it. It would be nice if it had at least the resolution of my laptop LCD. Still it is a great price for a great looking monitor.

I bought this for a relative whose 17" CRT was on the way out. It arrived promptly and did not have any dead pixels, which I had been concerned about. The included monitor stand is pretty basic with no height adjustment, but since I'd ordered a desk-mounted support arm it wasn't a problem. The picture was sharp upon startup. I never could get one of the two included software programs (Natural Color Pro (?)) to work. There are a ton of adjustments possible in the other software program, Magic Tune. A lesson learned: take your time as you adjust the settings so you can figure out what to reverse to correct a change you don't like! This was the first flat panel I'd bought and after two months I'm satisfied.

I bought this back in March for $189. It's a great monitor. I have it hooked up to a Dell Dimension 3000. I need to upgrade my graphics card to use the DVI connection, but it still works great with analog connection. I have had no problems since I have owned it. It's a great monitor. I wanted a better monitor because I take a lot of digital photos and I edit them a lot. I wanted a good monitor for my photos. I would buy this again if I needed to.

Its a good monitor but works best at 1440 X 900 and 1680 X 1050. If your video card does not support this resolutions then dont buy this monitor. Other than that its worth every penny spent.

I am writing to let you all know that I am satisfied with my new Samsung WideScreen Monitor. I didn't expect it to be as wide as it is versus the height but I can read my ebooks with great ease this way and watch movies like being in a mini movie theater. Great service as well.

I purchased 3 of these to go with the dell workstations and it works great. As always, buy.com shipped it promptly (free shipping) and not a single bad pixel on any of the monitors. The rebate was a pain but for the price but that made the price about $157, it's a great monitor, and the 3 yr warranty is the icing on the cake.

And I mean in the traditional desk. The new monitor replaced my old Dell boat anchor, so that alone is an amazing improvement. As for the monitor itself - crisp images and better detail will definitely help with common tasks and graphics work! It was up and running within 10 minutes of removing it from the box. Worth the bucks, for sure! I may be ordering another for my 2nd desktop in the guest room!

The package arrived in only 6 1/2 days, thats pretty fast shipping. The monitor looks great and doesn't have any dead pixels. I would recommend this monitor to any one for quality and a good price at Buy.com. P.S. The only problem that I have is, the monitor is connected to a six year old pc and I think the integrated graphics aren't set up for different aspect ratio's. On the wide screen monitor some items appear stretched.

I love the size, weight, cost and ease of hookup. I don't yet have a digital card for my Dell, so initially hooked up analog. The only problem I've had is the contrast & brightness don't seem to be adjustable. I tried boosting the contrast to 100% and the brightness down to 20%, but see no difference at all, and am having trouble making out color differences that are slight - like in Yahoo e-mail, telling the difference between a message you've already read and one you haven't read yet. I'm hoping that a digital connection will correct that problem. We shall see. If anyone can tell me how to correct this, I'm game to listen.

This is a cheap monitor and for all practicle purposes, it seems to work fine. I had a problem with ghosting and found that I needed to change my resolution in my 'Settings' tab of Display Properties to 800 X 600 pixels. After this, no problems. I like it.

This monitor is pretty cool, definitely worth the money i paid. Sometimes you can see it refreshing, othertimes not. Regardless, a great monitor for watching movies or doing some typing farther away from my tiny laptop screen. Easy to use, good performance

Got 2 of them. One of them had a green line in the screen from shipping. Had no trouble getting a new one from Samsung. Though wish it had taken less then 7 days. The screen is such a nice up grade from my last set.

Samsung 19" wide monitor is very nice and well worth. Recently bought a Hannsg 19", and I like it better. Even thought it was cheaper. Maybe it's just me. All in all, Samsung is quality well worth the cost. Nice to have competition.

I don't ask that much of a monitor, I suppose. I bought two of these in order to try out the use of widescreen monitors in a dual-monitor configuration. I have no complaints at all about the monitors, but I must say that I am not enamored with widescreen computer monitors as a whole. I don't see that added real estate as being all that useful.

I had an older 15" version of this Samsung monitor and finally decided to upgrade to the 19". I absolutely love it. It is incredibly easy to use and the picture quality is fantastic! You can't beat the price and service from Buy.com. If you are looking for a quality monitor at a great price, this one is for you.

The widescreen takes a little getting used to (compared to a "normal" 4x3 monitor), but all in all this is a really impressive monitor. The Vista-compatible driver is available via WindowsUpdate so installation and operation was simple. I am impressed with the picture quality and zero dead pixels...I would HIGHLY recommend.

Monitor arrived as promised by Buy.com, right on time. Opened and connected in just a few minutes. Tried to browse the included CD, but it was warped and wouldn't spin in the drive. Contacted Samsung, and they said that a replacement CD was "not available". Pretty poor service for a brand new monitor. Otherwise, quite satisfied.

My niece is an advid on-line shopper. She is the TOPS when it comes to getting the best price from all types of sellers, for just about anything. She knew I was in the market for a flat screen monitor. She contacted me immediately so that I could take advantage of deal as it was the last day. I was so impressed with the price and how fast I received it. I received the email advising how & when it was being shipped, immediately after ordering with a tracking # and link. I linked onto it and expected delivery on the Monday following (about 1 week) I actually received it on Thursday. Only 4 days after placing the order on Sunday afternoon. Very IMPRESSIVE !!!! I bought this primarily because of the Samsung name and the value the offer presented. So far, so good! The delivery went off without a hitch, the monitor was intact, and NO DEAD PIXELS! NOT ONE! Took some getting used to as far as the WS aspect and the display itself (First LCD monitor), but I'm very pleased! Only downside is that I'm having lots of problems getting Magic Tune to work (perhaps VISTA problem?) and some of the menu options on the adjustment screen are not available for me (also, perhaps a VISTA problem). Overall though, a great monitor for the money!

With the low price, this is the best deal. It replaced my Dell 17" LCD, which had a dead pixel right in the middle. That troubled me so many times with FPS games. I love this wide screen with those newer games that support it. The only downside is with the native resolution while trying to get the HD to work on 1080p through DVI, but it might be my older video card. Digital input through DVI is still not working for me with all the tweaks I've done.

What's not to love? The shipping was extremely fast. The product has great resolution, set up was a breeze and it is priced so low, I would have thought it was a typo if it was anywhere else! I highly recommend this monitor.

In getting a new LCD monitor, I was worried (with any manufacturer) that I may end up with dreaded dead pixels. However, I bought a pair of these being the optimist that I am. Both were picked up at the local shipping depot (don't ask), and taken home. After unpacking these beauties, I plugged one in using DVI, the other SVGA. Both worked and looked flawless. I'm extremely happy even coming from a professional series CRT that cost nearly 10x as much. If you're considering a 19" widescreen LCD, don't pass these by!

Monitor is alright, wasnt what I expected. By reading all the reviews on the monitor, I was sure I was getting a top notch monitor. I primarily use the computer for gaming, The reviews said they had no ghosting what so ever, well there Wrong. I have the monitor maxxed out at best possible setting, and still get ghosting. Some of the software for the monitor is not compatible with Xp. Overall not that bad, but was expecting more. My crt monitor has way better Quality.

it's a wonderful monitor. i'm not tech-ee at all, but it was so easy to set up, i didn't have to be. we are getting another pc soon and i hope this monitor is still available when we do.

This display was easy to set up. It has a clear bright screen with excellent colors. The bottom pedestal support is adequate for desktop viewing and tilts from about 10 degrees forward to 15 backward. The height is not adjustable. The warranty is outstanding with three years plus I extended it with the 2 year replacement warranty - which gives an excellent 5 year warranty. Overall it is an great deal for the price.

For the money this was an excellent purchase, it is light and bright and easy to setup. The driver Software was a nightmare that turned out to be a problem with my registry not the monitor(thank God for online help) Even without the software, the monitor had a great picture, didn't see any noticable defects. Have enjoyed it for two weeks now with no problems.

We are very happy with our purchase. The clarity of the colors is excellent and the set-up was simple. The space that we saved by getting rid of our old monitor is amazing. I'm sure there are better monitors out there, but as far as daily home use this is a very good product.

I'm just loving my Sumsung Monitor....it's so nice and pretty....I have so much space after taking my other large monitor out....Sumsung Monitor is my first flat screen....awesome....you've got to get one!!!!
