I love it...there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Very clear image and solid construction. Good enough features and quality to do professional editing work. Great starter/everyday workstation for a pro. Dual inputs make it easy to use with 2 pc's at the same time saving space. It looks nice too. All around I'm very happy with it after owning it for about 2 years now and I am going to buy another one. Samsung seems to make very good products.

The Samsung 906BW is great looking with a crystal clear display. I bought mine on buy.com for a super low price. I received the item fast and in perfect condition. You won't be disappointed with this monitor.

The monitor was in a semi good condition, it had scratches along the edges but it did not affect the quality of the picture whatsoever. Monitor upon arrival had no dead pixels, everything is in excellent condition and crystal clear. I use this monitor for gaming and there is no flaws whatsoever with it.

What a monitor and great deal! I upgraded from a 17 inch lcd and this wide screen 19 inch just looks huge! There is such a difference with the wide view that I am not sure why anyone would really want a larger monitor for their desktop. Easy to set up and great picture. Super value with the new card $50 off and very fast shipping. I love this monitor and just did the regular hook up as I have not yet bought the other cable. Thank you so much.

I just got this monitor hooked up today and I have to say, it's really nice. The ultra fast response time helps a lot. It doesn't come with a DVI cable, but that's no big deal.

I bought two of these to use for audio production and I could not be happier. The color is brilliant, the picture is clear and they were totally plug-n-play with my Mac. Never even had to load the install / driver CD, I just plugged them in, set the resolution and they look great. I looked at a bazillion different monitors and chose these due to the GREAT price, Samsungs great reputation and of course, the great picture. Get one "or two" you won't be disappointed.

My school purchased this model in bulk for its graphics labs. They all perform well and I've never heard one complaint from a fellow student or a faculty member. So, I thought I'd purchase one my self although, I didn't know about the amazing price!

Wow, this is a really nice monitor! I upgraded from a 7 year old Gateway 17" CRT, so this is a great improvement. It does not come with a DVI cable, but you can just purchase that for seven or eight bucks here on buy.com. DON'T go to a store locally for it or you'll end up paying upwards of 30 or 40 dollars for it. The settings on this are easy to adjust, it's very easy on the eyes. The 2ms response time will be good for graphic design my wife will be doing. An excellent choice at an excellent price. Oh, and I chose budget shipping for free. I ordered late on a Saturday and it arrived here on Tuesday morning! One downside - it is a little "wobbly". I have a wobbly desk, and the monitor wobbles a little, but it's really no big deal. The finish on this monitor is awesome. You'll love it!

This LCD Monitor is very easy to install and has excellent color and brightness.The only thing that is not mentioned what type of cable is used for the DVI connector.

With all the praises from the review section, I thought I couldn't go wrong with this monitor. I have a Dell computer with a built in video port. I do not have DVI card. The installation was simple and easy: Install the set up program and plug in the monitor. I was thrilled to see the bright screen, but after a while it's kind of hurting my eyes. I noticed that the pictures were washed-out. When I tried to adjust the color by using the buttons on the monitor, I found that those buttons are not logically arranged. There were no instructions that come with the monitor on those buttons. I gave up trying and used the software to adjust the color. The pictures looked great after few tries. When I got to internet and went to Yahoo.com for news, I noticed that the texts were hard to read. They don't look sharp, and the contrast is not well defined. No matter how I adjusted it, the texts were still not as sharp and the contrast was not as well defined as the 17" LCD from Viewsonic or the 19" CRT Trinitron monitor. They were readable, but I was highly disappointed. With all the good reviews, I will give it another chance by spending $80 to buy a DVI card and hope that it will turn out OK. If I'm not planning to buy DVI card, which I'm not sure if it will correct the problem, this monitor is worthless for reading news on the internet. The monitor ($200) and a basic DVI card ($80) make this monitor more expensive than I have planned. I would give it a thumb down for Analog connection. For DVI, it is waiting to be seen.

This is the first monitory I've ever bought, and I think it's really awesome for the price. There's one dead pixel, but I hardly ever notice it.

This monitor is really great! the picture quality is great and with the 2001:1 contrast ratio and the 2ms response time you really cant beat the price. This monitor is pretty solid!!

Perfect the role I bought this for, which is just typical home usage (not extreme graphics or gaming), so I can only comment on that. I already have a stand-alone speaker system, so I was glad to find a monitor of this quality that didn't have embedded speakers. Flawless installation right out of the box, excellent performance from the moment I turned it on. Great display quality and color.

The monitor was very easy to install. Once I set the correct resolution the picture was crisp and clear and the print easy to read. At at a smaller resolution the print was broken and blurry. I've tested everything from side by side documents to watching a movie and am extremely pleased with the picture and performance and love the wide screen. Great value!!

When i got it, i put it up the same day. I like this screen because it's huge for the things i do, like running many windows at the same time. It really does startup in 3ms wich i really like, nice black and glossy design, It's both DVI, and VGA ready, but since they only give you a VGA cable; you have to order your DVI cable separatly if it's necessary. Great product for games, and widescreen movies...

Excellent monitor. There is nothing to setting it up. Right out of the box excellent bright vivid colors, never had to play with a button or anything. Bought it because my ViewSonic died and this Samsung has a better warranty. Only regret is I did not buy the 20" version. If your are not accustomed to viewing a wide-screen (I was not) then you will initially feel this monitor is more like a 17". Yes ... a 20" would have been really realy nice ...next time.

This is a sharp looking display. It is nice and bright, and the look of it is nice. It feels flimsy to me as it seems to be overrun with cheap plastic. Also, mine has a dead pixel already. Not a big deal, but I am waiting for more to show up! I could not send it back to Buy.com as I had already processed the rebate and cut off the UPC symbol. Hopefully, it will be OK.

The screen works as advertised. It doesn't come with the digital cable. Only analog, so you have to buy the digital. The screeen is crisp, colors are good and Samsung has plenty of features that allows you to adjust the screen colors, brightness etc. I replaced our old CRT 19" screen with this LCD. We used the CRT mostly for photography and I was nervous about replacing it wih an LCD. However, I'm very happy so far. I have had this for about 1 month now.

I've been using this for a little over a month, and I am totally impressed with the quality of this monitor. It's easy to set up, worked right out of the box with no special drivers, and looks great for movies, games, and even web surfing. I was so impressed with it that I ended up buying a second one so that I can run them in dual. Great value and superb quality!

I like the display a lot but beware of the rebate from Samsung. My rebate is supposedly being processed after being submitted twice but I will believe it when I see it. Judging from comments on the internet and my experience, they are either incompetent or deliberately difficult.

I did lots of comparing and couldn't find a better monitor for the price. The display is super sharp and really bright. I actually had to lower the brightness from the factory specs. It was really easy to set up, just plug and play and windows was able to detect the new monitor. When registering your product you can download any needed programs/patches or just use the included CD.

This Samsung 906BW 19" WideScreen LCD Display is a real masterpiece. With a 2000:1 contrast ratio and 2ms response time its the best I have ever seen since I started looking out for a LCD monitor for the price I paid. The picture sharpness, color is truly amazing. Been watching DVDs since it arrived a couple of weeks ago. Extremely satisfied.

I purchased this monitor specifically for gaming on my XBOX 360. Currently, the 360 doesn't support 1440x900 resolution, but it doesn't matter! The picture quality looks amazing in 720p (1280x720 resolution)!!! I'm not using the monitor for PC use, so there was no need for the included CD-ROM. Everything was pretty much plug and play. After messing with the settings for about an hour, I got the results I wanted. The whites are super crisp, and the blacks are very dark. The color is amazing. I found myself staring at the screen for awhile instead of actually playing the game. The Samsung 906bw has an amazing response time - 2ms,which is blazing fast and essential for gaming! It also features a contrast ratio of 2000:1, a great value for a great price. Samsung also offers a 3 year warranty on the product, so that's always good for peace of mind. This is my first Samsung LCD purchase, and it most definitely will not be my last! I am very impressed. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is unsure.

I bought this monitor with a limited budget but still intending to break a certain "quality threshold". I'm certain that I succeeded in this as the monitor does exactly what it's supposed to. The only trouble that I had was with the driver installation which wasn't altogether too clear. The documentation was also rather quiet about informing you what resolution you needed to adjust to and other related drudgery that you need to be aware of when changing monitors. But the monitor itself is fantastic. I am not a super-tech savvy guy, but I can compare specs and these ones are above average when compared to other monitors. I watch both black and white movies as well as color and so far have been throughly satisfied with the performance. And if this is your first wide-screen, you will appreciate the extra room on screen. All in all, I doubt you'll see much better at this price.

One of the best LCD monitor's I've ever used. The brightness control is amazing and the resolution is perfect. The quality improves with a DVI card. The 2ms is perfect if you are gonna be using it for a lot of animation and graphics. Comes ready with Vista support and setup is a breeze. The back support plate is a little flimzy though!

Just got my new Samsung 906BW.. awesome product as always. I previously had a Samsung 17" monitor (730B) for 2 years and after recently moving, and getting a bigger desk, the display was too small for what I needed, so I decided it was time for an upgrade anyway! PROS - Sweet looking bezel (flashy black), widescreen is awesome, I watch 720P HD stuff online (shows/movie trailers, etc) and playing games is just as good.. no ghosting. I was originally considering getting the 941BW on sale and such, but this monitor blows that one out of the water (compare the specs and you'll see). For an extra $30-50 (or whatever it was).. definitely worth it to get the higher spec model. Easy setup, plug & play basically, and I was on my way (using the monitor right now!) CONS - Doesn't come with a DVI cable (But I already had one anyway, so no worry for me.. maybe a concern for you) Also, the stand is non-adjustable (height). You can slightly tilt the monitor front to back if need be, but I'm probably either going to make some type of stand to life the monitor up, or just get one at an office supply store of some kind. Other then that.. great product. Super fast shipping with Buy.com free shipping. Shipped from Cali to me in NYC.. took 3 days! AND IT WAS FREE SHIPPING TOO!! THANKS BUY.COM!!

Opened the box, connected the analog cable, power cord, and stand turned on the pc and away we went. Picture is great! I have a DVI cable on the way, so we will see how that is once connected, I expect alittle bit better quality once the DVI is connected, but I dont see how it can get much better. I like this product alot. I purchased 2 for home use, gaming and everyday use. It works great for all. Gaming is HOTT on this monitor (HOTT means "Really Good"). I would recommend this product. 2000:1 Contrast Ratio, 2ms response time, I mean wow, its great. The only downside, no DVI Cable comes with the monitor, you have to purchase your own DVI cable, but if you want to use the analog, it looks great too. I have a raedon 256MB Video Card. The picture is nice and bright, crisp detail.

The best 19" model from Samsung. Better than the early 905 model in terms of workmanship and materials. The 905's soft plastic frame is kind of warped in the center at the top and bottom edge of the frame but this new 906 is made of rigid glossy plastic so it will always stay straight. The glossy frame is not really as distracting as others would say. Neither is the blue LED power indicator. No dead or stuck pixels, Vista-certified, no height-adjustment and swivel, and no DVI cable included. Overall, you will be impressed with its performance and color rendition.

Dear Samsung, I have recently bought your 906BW 19" monitor, let me personally thank you for your outstanding product. It was extremely easy to use, unpacked it and fired the baby right up. It had NO flaws whatsoever! The performance is second to none, it's quite amazing while playing games, especially Oblivion. And the specs that this monitor carries, you wont find a better deal; period! This monitor is everything I expected and more. I would definately buy one of your products again, no questions asked. This display is great for viewing and editing digital photos, watching movies, or running your favorite apps. Highly recommended for all who want a fantastic display at a great price! Only catch is that there is no DVI cable included.

This monitor is worth every penny of the price... anyone who knows anything about monitors knows that Samsung is the way to go. Honestly this thing is so crisp and responsive that it's hard to believe it's an LCD display--it easily matches and even surpasses the clarity of any CRT monitor. I'm a gamer so I need something that can move images at the speed of light (no pun intended). This thing rocks the house!

Very nice monitor. I recently also purchased a NEC 90GX and like it somewhat better. One thing to note: if you plan on using this monitor on an older computer with integrated graphics, it will probably not support the desired resolution (1440 x 900). You will then be faced with purchasing and installing a new graphics card or a new computer in order to enjoy this monitor.
