When I first got the nc10 I loved everything about it except for the fact that it would lose the internet connection after a few minutes. My signal was strong....long story short...did the upgrade (twice) and that solved the problem. This netbook is well made, delivers 5 hours of use at top settings and is super fast, after the 2gig upgrade. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Great product. 10in size is much better. Family loves it. Boot time is impressive. Battery life allows use for almost all day without a plug. No problems, I definitely recommend a buy here. You will want a wireless mouse, so buy one now.

.....not a wise choice for those who blog or post on forums daily. The screen is very small therefore scrolling is a constant movement. The right left click is difficult to feel unless you are looking down at the key board. I do enjoy the long life battery and the light weight.

it is very good. I recoomended this net book. I is very comfortable, useful, and portable. Speed is good. memory and hard drive are good enough..

Once you understand this is a netbook, what's not to like? I dare say it is close to being a fully-useable laptop. Granted, there is no disk drive, but I installed Office 2007 on it and it works fine (although it slows the unit - need a RAM upgrade!). Simply copy the DVD onto a flashdrive of sufficient size and install from there. The internet connectivity on this netbook is great, the keyboard works very well, and the battery life is amazing. At 10.3" the screen does a good job and is bright and clear. The touchpad is hard to stay on as it is flush with the case, but a little care keeps you on track. Overall, this is a great unit and is perfect for travel. Skype works great, and a bluetooth headset, even a unit normally used for a cellphone, works well with the unit's bluetooth feature for both communication and as a substitute for the built-in speakers (which are pretty tinny-sounding). Great product.

Once you come to terms with the fact that this is not your typical laptop, you will really love it. I find the 10.2" screen more than adequate. I can't imagine how the smaller 8.9" screens look on other netbooks. But I could not give this netbook a '5.' It is a netbook and not one computer in this size can be a '5.' They're much too small and there are certain shortcomings that will drive you crazy. NEGATIVES: 1) The keyboard, no matter the claimed 93% size of this one, is still too small for comfort. 2) The absolute near-uselessness of the keyboard trackpad is beyond annoying. It is very difficult to which to get acclimated. I'm going to have to buy a wireless, bluetooth mouse as soon as possible. 3) I didn't think that I'd care about not having a DVD/CD drive until I wanted to install Microsoft Office. I don't have access to an external drive, so I'm how do you say, screwed. 4) The glossy exterior of this netbook shows smudges like crazy. Just don't look at it! POSITIVES: 1) The battery life on this thing is astounding. I've seen claims of 6-7 hours and I wouldn't debate it, even though I haven't measured for myself. 2) The speed of using the web is great. I mostly use this netbook to access my work desktop through a Remote Desktop Connection and I've not experienced any problems. I haven't had the chance to utilize other applications, but can't imagine there to be a great performance problem. 3) I haven't upgraded the RAM yet, but a 2GB upgrade is under $30 and is a snap to do (apparently). 4) Solid construction/build-quality. 5) Plethora of input ports. Overall, for $440 from Buy.com, this netbook has saved my life. I travel through airports every week for work and the weight savings is worth the small keyboard and bad trackpad. The performance is more than adequate and battery life is tremendous.

I brought this netbook because I was tired of carrying that big heavy 15" laptop. So far with the Samsung Netbook, I love everything about it. It's light, the battery last a long time and the keyboard is easy to use. I also like the black covering, no smudges. I recommend this netbook to anyone.
