Iam very happy to have bought this bag. Its BIG very spacious and nice material has been used. The cushion behind and straps we so well made. Its great for me because I take my testbooks to school and since those books are heavy I needed a good robust and comfortable bag which can bear the load and not make me feel iam lifing a 100 lb materials. Cons* the only con would be the choise of colors, they dont have many options there.

* Overall bag has a lot of space for books, cell phones, pens, accessories etc. Very comfortable padding for a backpack. * Padding for laptop sides and bottom is kinda to a minimum (about 0.6 mm). * 17" Dell Studio laptop fits perfectly. However when the laptop is in the bag and strapped down there is absolutely no padding for the top edges - so one has to be very careful that the top edges (bag in upright position) of the laptop is not bumped. This is more a backpack bag that has been minimally modified for a laptop Overall: For the price you pay, is a decent bag

I really love this bag. The way the straps support on your shoulders make it easier to carry a heavy bag. you can barely feel the weight on your shoulders. Great bag...

It's a good purchase. But personally I would have preferred a little more storage space. There are too many padding for protection!

I purchased two of these for my son. He usually goes through two bags a year. These are Samsonite and appear to be much more rugged than others we have purchased. One bag might even last a whole year. At this price you can't afford to pass this offer by.

Another top class bag from Samsonite. Good material, Good design and lot of pockets as well. To conclude, its worth the value you pay for. I would definitely recommend this one.

I was very pleased to get this product. It is very well made with lots of pockets for all your stuff, well organized. It fits my HP Pavilion dv7 nicely with about an inch to spare. The straps are well padded and adjustments are very easy to make. Good padding and ventilation design for air flow on the back. I was lucky to get mind at $31.99. I was coming back to buy one for my son but the price had almost doubled.

A rare fitting laptop bag that fits the HP HDX 18T, which is an 18 inches laptop. The fit is really tight though, almost have to force it in. But at least it fits.

I hauled 2 laptops with me to Japan. One was a Samsung NC10 netbook (10-incher), and the other a Gateway 17" behemoth. It even has a battery that sticks out. With the battery, the bag couldn't hold it, but anyone with a brain would know to take the battery out, but it in a seperate copartment (and in this bad, there really aren't many), and then everything fits nice. For what I wanted to use it for it works, but it's not exactly the best looking bag, or the most versatile. For that, you might want to look at the Swiss Army backpacks. I've got one for my old 15.4" laptop, and it has so many pockets I actually lose things within the bag. I'm not saying this is a bad buy, it's just that for a few bucks more you can go out in style.

This laptop backpack fits my 17" Toshiba Laptop securely and has plenty of room in extra compartments to store other items such as a mouse, books, phone, and any other relatively small item you can think of. I only had a choice of one color when I purchased it, but fairly happy with it over all.

Samsonite makes excellent products that are well made and long lasting. There is ample storage space even when a 17" notebook is being carried. The shoulder straps are soft and wide which eases the burden even when heavily loaded. A well thought out and user friendly product, sold at an excellent price.

I bought it a month ago after reading all these reviews. The very first day, when I kept my laptop (only 14.1"inch) inside the bag, the bag got torn. The most important thing in a bag is it should not get torn easily and it should be durable. Convenience, Arrangements, design and color etc come next. My Friends tell abt warranty and stuff. But, Why I have to go through all these warranty and replacement stuff for a $30 backpack? What trust the brand adds to the product? My Bag is torn for no reason. I have photo-proof that I can upload somewhere and edit this review with the photo url address so that it will help other people.

I bought it for my 17" wide screen HP laptop. It's a big laptop but fits nicely in this bag. There are various other compartments and plenty of leftover space for other items. It looks decent and the material is pretty decent too for the cost. It's made in China, but it's a Samsonite.

Great backpack in terms of utility and organization. Easily fit my 17" widescreen HP laptop. Lots of pockets for clear organization of accessories like a mouse, pens/paper, books, etc. The straps are sturdy, and the spacers on back really help maintain a comfortable airflow between you and the pack. Probably the only significant downside is the color. The scheme is not very imaginative and looks even more drab in person. Highly recommend the pack but would prefer to have a better color like red.

This bag has enough space for my stuff. Laptop fits well inside the bag with all accessories. This is what i was looking for. Moreover the price that i paid is reasonable. Finally, within my budget, i managed to purchase this bag. It would be great, if extra space(external) is provided for water bottle.

Biggest in its class. If you need big, this is it. Fits my 17" dell inspirion snugg and well protected along with two controllers, gaming mouse, power brick, and still has alot of room left over.

Beautiful Laptop Backpack. Not too stylish, but not shabby either. biggest in its class. Kind of resembles a hiker's bag. It fits my Dell Inspiron 1720 nice and snug, which is the reason I got it. A bit too rigid, but that's good thing I guess. Enough room for the laptop, ac brick, two game controls, lazer mouse, with lots of room to spare. I hadn't noticed how big it was, until my roommate walked in saying I had a locker on my back. Anyway funny moment. Recommend, if large is what you need.

I liked this bag, has enough space for holding my 15" vostro as well as some of my files. It doesn't have a bottle holder, but has enough space in the front pockets. The cushion is comfortable over shoulders as well as on back.

This was a wonderful purchase. There are a variety of compartments within which you can place computer accessories and the backpack is very comfortable. Furthermore, it is much easier to carry any of the heavier laptops in a bag that is styled to distribute the weight on both shoulders. Coincidentally, as it looks nothing like a computer bag it is much less prone to theft.

I purchased the backpack as a gift for my daughter to go with her new Ibook. She was so excited and pleaseed when she opened the box and saw the Samsonite name. The backpack was a critical component on her trip to New Zealand. It was her only carry on and was capable of carrying all her immediate travel needs, including the Ibook. It was lightweight and manageable, even full with all the "critical" travel gear and Ibook. She and I would recommend this backpack to everyone.

I recently bought this bag when my 15 minute car commute turned into a 90 minute public transit commute. This bag is durable, well-padded, and doesn't scream "There's a laptop in here!". Highly recommended.

It's a good product, The bag is comfortable. It has extra cushioning on the back. Its compact compared to other 17'bags I have used or seen. It should have had a water bottle net and another chest strap to secure the bag.

The backpack rage is in full force @ my workplace. Most people are buying swissgear but I didnt want to pay that much for a 17" capable laptop backpack. I love the samsonite! It has good padding and excellent layout inside. It seems very durable to boot - which I expected from Samsonite.

Love it! Sturdy, lots of room, lots of pockets, good construction. The only feature I wish it had was a water bottle holder. Other than that, I wouldn't change a thing!

This item looks good in picture, but when you touch it, ware it, it doesn't feel right. I like Samsonite brand, but I will definitely not recommend this particular produce, It doesn't feel like from this company

Overall the bag works well - great pockets and nice padding for the laptop. One of the side zippers broke the first week that I had it which was a bummer. Also, there is no waist belt or chest strap which is nice when the bag is heavy with gear.

It is good and has enough space to hold a 17" laptop but for some reason I didnt like the organization of the bag. I bought one also from Samsonite which has a separate compartment for the laptop and I feel that is a better investment than this.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this bag for the low price. Most bags that I have looked at say they fit most 15" notebooks. However, my 15" widescreen never fits them. This one will take up to a 17" machine, so my 15" widescreen fits like a glove. I love it.

Just got this in.... very surprised at the amount of stuff this will hold. I have a 15.4 lappie and it doesn't swallow it like I expected... it appears very strong, good zippers. The interesting thing compared to other back-packs is that it is very flexible. It appears to be durable though collapses very easily. It might take some getting used to - but it is growing on me.

This bag goes with me everywhere now. Easily fits my 15.4" Dell and should have no problem fitting a 17" laptop. I would highly recommend this to anyone that need a backpack for school or work...
