Samsonite lives up to expectations. Very spacious bag; fits in my laptop and all the other stuff that I require for my college use. Also doubles up as a travel bag for short trips. Nicely arranged compartments, with an eye for detail. Almost everything that I was looking for in a backpack are there.

After using American Tourister's backpack; I was sincerely hunting for other Samsonite product and found this Interchange backpack.. It is a vast storage compartment; ideal not only for college but also for my air-trips. Its extremely comfortable ;thanks to padded cushions on back that I wanted as I get back-pain ever n ever. In all, still a loyal consumer of Samsonite products.

Comfortable, durable and stylish design. Accommodates Laptop and all of its accessories, including books, folders, cd's with ease. Also has convenient water bottle and mp3 storage wtih additional pockets for pda, mouse, credit cards, keys, etc. Nice enough to be used as a traditional backpack. Much better than the over the shoulder briefcase style computer bags. Excellent Samsonite quality, great buy.

Nice looking, fits my 17" Pavilion dv7 with room for a lot more stuff in four more double zippered compartments. Partitioned for pens or pencils, a strong key ring, and room for tablets, folders, or books, etc. It also has ample padding to soften the pack against your back. Each side has a small open elastic pouch that can be used for cup or bottle. I am very satisfied with this Samsonite Interchange Laptop Backpack.

I bought this to carry a 17” HP laptop. This backpack exceeds all expectations. I’m a pack rat and carry the 17”, a netbook, external burner, tons of accessories and still room for more. If you need room this is the right backpack.

i actually was lookin for a back pack tht wud carry my 7 lb dell laptop ,its charger ,my lunch box,my books and quite a few other gadgets.....this back pack fits them all perfectly and is the best deal for its price.....has a nice cushioning on all sides and a nice padded shoulder and back strap..... thankz...

I once worried about the size of the backpack. It may looks too big for me as it is supposed to hold a 17" laptop. I was very happy when I got it. It's just the size I need, not stupidly big, but large enough to hold my dell studio 17. I had a 15" backpad, similar design to this. It last 2 years, and still perfect without any broken. Definitely will choose samsonite again.

Wow! This is comfortable! Elastic side pouches carry water bottles and coffee mugs. Zippered pouches galor for all the "small stuff". Large, roomy pouches for lunch, notebooks/organizers. File folder pockets as well. Fits my Dell Precision M6300 perfectly, and fits over the shoulder even better! Single arm carry is very comfortable; double arm carry even moreso. Holds up to all the abuse I put it through, and both bag and contents are as good as new. Best: it doesn't look like a laptop case! Great feature for NOT attracting the wrong kind of attention when stored in the car or out and about. Definitely was worth the price of admission! Wish I'd bought one years ago...

I was looking for a bag-pack that can also work as Carry On for flight. I traveled a lot with this bag and handled it very badly, but still it looks new. This bag-pack is very durable(My laptop is 17") and ergonomic (I usually walk with this bag pack 4-5 miles a day, still no pain in back). Excellent product.

I bought it for my son who is in high school. He loves all the features. He wishes it could be in a different color, and a little wider but that did not stop him from throwing his old backpack away and changing to the new one right away. It is very comfortable to carry with, he told me.

The Samsonite Interchange is ideal for carrying my 16" laptop, iPod, Cell phone and their cables n chargers. The bag has a lot of utility and is very lightweight. The airmesh pads provide a comfort even when carrying your laptop. The padding is really gud to cushion ur laptop. Overall this bag is not a bad deal to buy. There could be a choice of different colors though.

I gave this backpack to my husband who teaches high school. We've only had it a week or so but he loves how much it holds--the separate compartment for the computer plus huge compartment for books and papers. He also finds it really compfortable even though it's big. Hard to rate for durability when he's used it for such a short time, but so far, so good!

I got this on a buy.com weekly special, and the bargain seemed too good to be true. It wasn't! This bag is amazing, it has all sorts of pockets and zippers. I carry my laptop, change of gym clothes, lunch bag, plus a bunch of other things in here every day back and forth to work and gym. It gets a bit bulky with all that stuff in there, but the pack is very comfortable and seems to be holding up just fine durability wise. If I had to find something to complain about, it'd be the lack of a metal ring to attach keys or anything else you might want very handy on the outside, say on the straps or on the side. I just use one of the pockets, but that means taking the pack off, unzipping, getting it out, and putting it back on vs. just reaching around the side and grabbing what you need. It does have a metal clip inside one of pockets, but I just got used to the clip on my old pack, hence the complaint. Overall, I've rated this pack a 5 across the board. The pockets and organizers are better than any backpack I've had to date, and for a very cheap price.

I've been using Samsonite backpacks for a while, and this one is the best yet. It is larger and accommodates my 17-inch Dell without any problem. No strain on the zipper, unlike the last one... I'm pleased :-)

I bought this backpack as a backup to my regular laptop case. I was concerned that it would not fit my Dell Studio 1735 17" laptop. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that my laptop does fit, barely! It is a tight squeeze at the corners and does not offer much protection there, but not too big a deal. Looks like a nice well made pack. For the price I cant complain.

I bought this bag from buy.com. By the second day of using, the stitching came apart on one of the shoulder straps. I contacted buy.com who promptly arranged for me to be able to ship back to them. I got a replacement in about 2 weeks. The replacement bag doesn't seem to have that issue, although it is still too early to assure. Overall, the bag is well organised and apart from my lunch box, it can accommodate my laptop, an umbrella, a magazine and a daily newspaper quite comfortably.

This backpack helps me alot, because I travel internationally every month. I spend alot of time on airplanes, and in airports. The easy access padded laptop section makes things better when going through security.The other sections and compartments are handy as well.Priced right too.

It's a nice bag for the price I paid. The material is pretty thin, not much padding for my 17" HP. It bareley fits, I have to stretch the zipper up for it to fit inside the designated pouch. I paid less than $40 for it, so can't complain. It does the job.

Good bag. Pretty spacious. I wanted a small chamber and a larger one. It's got both. Big size helps to stuff in a lot. Good no. of pockets too. Cheaper than kelty ones. Kelty, however has the best ones in the business. Will recommend buying this one for the price.

Its a samsonite, so you expect a certain quality and the product dosen't dissapoint. It is indeed very roomy, lots of compartments, including a secure one for the laptop. Its got nice padded shoulder bands. All and all excellent product and good value for the money.

I bought this thinking that it was the ticket for my new Gateway 7811FX 17" wide screen laptop. This was not so. The ad says that the book bag will fit up to a 17" laptop, and I'm sure it would, but not a wide screen. I am disappointing that it does not work because it looks like a quality product and the price was right but no matter what I do I can't get the corners to fit all the way in and if I did I would definitely break something in the process.

This is a good pack for what I have used it for. It has nice storage space and was able to keep all my files and accessories in order. The straps are padded which help with comfort when I have it loaded. It also has a couple bottle pouches on the sides for easy access. For me this is also a great alternative to a briefcase -- keeps my hands free. One down side could be the lack of sternum straps which may cause some grief if you are thinner. I noticed it only on when I had the pack loaded and needed to walk a good distance (which is rare). So other than that, it worked out perfectly for what I needed.

I was very pleased with the Samsonite Interchange backpack. I am actually using it to carry my Fujitsu 17 in. Lifebook, power supply, and 2 500 GB external hard drives to oilfield wellsites for work. The pack is made extremely well with durable zippers. The backpack is comfortable and has proven to be very durable. Well worth the $30 I paid for the pack, and as usual the service from Buy.com was flawless.

Overall a good investment, but beware. There is little padding on the bottom of the bag. It offers minimal shock protection. But I am careful with my laptop anyway, so I keep it in mind when I place it down. Worth the money.

Overall this is a great backpack. The price made it very attractive. I bought it for a second backpack that I could also use to carry my computer if needed. The padding in the computer pouch is a little lighter than I like but the overall quality is great for the price. My concern was for quality zippers and this backpack exceeds my expectations. The padded straps and back area make it very comfortable to carry even with several books. For occassional laptop carry or for daily use carrying books and things this is a great choice.

I have an HP laptop with the "17 inch monitor and that sucker gets heavy waiting in lines and while running to catch a layover flight. But the samsonite back pack solved all of that.
