I had a Rubik's cube growing up and spent hours trying to solve it. I purchased one for my 8 year old and now she is also enjoying the challenge of the cube.

this was a good buy, it's really fun. the stickers are cheap and start to peel after a while, but its good for beginners.

I bought the original cube because imitation cubes do not move as easily and eventually they fall apart. The imitations do have one improvement however. The original still uses STICKERS for the colors, which tend to peel slightly. Eventually these peel off, and they are annoying in the meantime. Imitation cubes use colored plastic, which can't peel off

I myself are addicted to the Rubik's cube. When im bored or in the mood it entertains me to no end. I believe anyone that enjoys puzzles, quizes, or just a good mental sweat should own a Rubik's cube!

Easily turns, well built. Only downside is colors are stuck on with stickers. May come off. Still, a nice cube. Very happy with mine.

My oldest son will really enjoy this gift. He had one when they first came out when he was an early teen, so I thought I would buy hin a new one, as he was a champ a it before.

My son is 13 and when he is sitting or on the phone he has his Cube. I told him about it, that I had one when I was a kid and it was the biggest thing. I am trying to share those retro toys when I was young to my kids now...Now my son has a bunch of his friends that will be asking for one at Christmas and they are planning on having a Rubiks Cube contest.

It was nice to see a comeback of this 80's fav. My teenager loves it. I give him another week or two before he learns how to take it apart to cheat.

I couldn't resist getting this item for my 14 year old. Such a hard age! Wanting all the electronic gadgets and games. This item is the perfect "mind bender" that keeps his attention without the flashing lights and blaring music. The only downfall to this item is that the different colored blocks are actually stickers. For those with a tendency to cut corners, the stickers provide a tempting way to cheat by rearranging just the stickers instead of twisting the puzzle to arrive at the solution. I remember my rubiks cube, and come to think of it, I don't think I ever successfully solved the challenging puzzle!

I had one of these about 25 years ago. Wish I would have kept it. The new one is very cheaply made and doesn't turn well. I just hope the colored stickers don't peel off.

This mystical cube of mystery is well worth the low low price at which the interweb vendor is offering at. For this amount of gold, I could upgrade my phasers to class 2 though, so I had to debate with myself. Anyways, I decided to go with the cube, and have not regretted my decision yet, mainly because this cube has kept me off the streets and out of gangs for 4 score and 20 years... however long that is. Anyways, long story short, they agreed to give my kidneys back a week later. Peace out.

I had forgotten how wonderful the Rubik's cube was. They are teaching our boys life's lessons, such as patience, methods, how to deal with frustration, and how to stay focused on a goal. All the things that they don't get from their video games, and we don't even have to buy batteries!

When my son was 10, he nagged for a "cube", and of course, got one. So for his 35th birthday the 25th anniversary "cube" was a natural. He got a big kick out of it. He still has the original and has this to add to it. It is very difficult to believe that was 25 years ago. Good for all ages.

The young ones loved to watch their parents struggle with this puzzle. Only one of us could solve the puzzle... but I'm still working on it and I WILL solve the bottom color !

Good thinking process for 8 and up. Makes them have to remember what they have already tried. Can be frustrating for some.

A classic who's time has definitely come again. This makes a great stocking stuffer and is fun to take along with you to work on it while waiting in the doctor's office, talking on the phone, etc.

I bought it as a present because my boyfriend wanted it. It came with a booklet on how to solve it...so he couldn't put it down until he did. Then I got stuck on it and solved it too!

good product overall. its fun for a while until you either can't solve it, or like me can't get much faster. needed some lubrication, but other than that good.

The cube looks great when you get it. But when you actually twist it, it's a little tight. I've only had it for about 2 weeks and the stickers are starting to peel already. I guess I play with it too much.

This was pretty much as I remembered, but not as sturdy. After a week or two of use, the stickers began to get grungy. It comes with an excellent manual, though, that makes solving the cube easy (a good option to have).

Very well made the colors are very bright provides solving instructions. This products reminds me of my own childhood, because I also owned a Rubiks cube. I thought I could challenge the solving skills of my children....... Very nice product.

I think ten yrs. is appropriate. He's learning patience which is a good thing. I would like to take this opportunity to say I also purchased the first "Sly" Playstation game. After giving him Sly II purchased on your website for Christmas, he asked for the first Sly game, which couldn't be found anywhere... that is until I found it on your website. It made him one happy kid on his birthday and Granny felt pretty good too. Thanks!

Great price. Daughter is extremely happy with this. Good educational toy for encouraging patience. Fun but also makes children use their brain. Would also be a good toy for the clinic (I am a nurse in a Family Practice Clinic) as it is easy to clean.
