The RMR-C450 will also scramble all radar and laser signals from a police radar or laser gun, making it virtually impossible for police to read your vehicles speed. The RMR-C450's radar and laser detector will cover your vehicle a full 360 degrees while the radar & laser jamming portion will cover the front of your vehicle 180 degrees for unbeatable protection. I,ve made four trips to Albany Ga. from Charleston, SC. using the RMR C450 Radar/Laser Detector With Scrambler. and it's great being invisible, on my last trip a young lady was following me and we ran up on the state police & before we new it we were upon them & pass them before I could slow down. I guess the young lady was close enough that she was covered by my unit and escaped a ticket. I stopped for gas a few miles down the road and the young lady pulled over also, we got to talking and I told her about the State troopers and my unit and said she would continue to follow me for as long as she could. I told her where I purchased my unit and she said she travels allot and can't afford another ticket and was going buy herself the Radar/Laser Detector With Scrambler.... GREAT PRODUCT...

Well today I just got my first ticket. it's been 2 years since I had this product and it happened today. My guess, from a distance the officer didn't know how fast, but in my case today, the officer was right on me. I had the volume low so I didn't hear it go off and have a chance to slow down. I think it doesn't work at close range but I never had a problem from a distance. My speaker on it doesn't work so well anymore but I have a 24 month replacement that expires next month.

DONT BUY A Rocky Mountain Radar. Rocky Mountain Radar does not Scramble radar. i bought one and now im sending it back. if you want to get a ticket buy a Rocky Mountain Radar.

Well after a year and 7 months of using it for most of the eastern coast of this country...I'M SOOO GLAD I BOUGHT THIS! I HAVE NOT BEEN PULLED OVER YET! The scrambler works like a charm. I do not condone excessive speeding! But in at a reasonable speed...they don't even know how fast I'm going. GREAT PRODUCT!!

Not a bad unit. Very sensitive in detecting false signals (a bit annoying) but there is a auto mute on it that makes it beep about 3 times and auto mutes. I'm not a speed demon so I don't expect to be caught for something excessive. But it's good to know that this has a scrambler that will give me time to slow down if I am going light speed. It has a voice and tells you what band it's picking up. The dimmer is cool...it even turns the display off so no one from the outside can see it. I haven't seen any of the saftey features yet. I bought this for $178 on this site and I suggest you buy it from here also. The company website is selling for over $220 and shipping.

Very good unit. It is pretty sensitive and responsive. It has an auto mute to keep it quiet when it just goes off like crazy when it picks up other signals. The voice feature is great and it has a dimmer that will turn off the display completely when you don't want anyone peering in your windows to see that it's on. You can turn on or off the voice if you choose not to hear it. Pretty good buy here. As of now, I don't know if the scrambler works or not...and hopefully I will find out soon enough. Great warranty too!!
