This model also provides the benefit of 'undetectability' by alerting you to the presence of VG-2 ('The Radar Detector detector'). It also incorporates a new safety feature, Safety Alert(SA) and Safety Warning System(SWS). This safety feature warns you of the presence of potential road hazards by detecting signals from safety radar transmitting devices.

    I used to have a older version of Rocky mountain and it worked good so i bought this new one but buy.com sent me a wrong model number i test drove the radar but found no speedtraps so i went to this Gas station where my old radar and also my escort passport 8500 x50 gives a x radar alert so i took this radar to the gas station and yes it did give me a warning of x band and when i pressed the city mode the warning went away pretty small and light but long as it work i am cool thanks
