When a giant alien spaceship crashes to Earth on Macross Island in the South Pacific, scientists rush to restore the technologically advanced battle fortress in order to stop a global war. Ten years later, Project Robotech has been completed and is ready for its maiden voyage when a race of hostile aliens known as the Zentraedi wage war on Earth to claim the powerful weapon for themselves. Chronicling the ongoing battle between humans and Zentraedi, the Robotech series continues with this third episode "Space Fold."
