 The BBC brings ROBIN HOOD into the 21st century with this adaptation of his adventures featuring Jonas Armstrong in the lead role. The first season starts with Robin returning to Britain after fighting in the Holy Wars. But being back on familiar territory makes Robin acutely aware of the problems facing his native country, and he rounds up a band of "Merry Men" to tackle the Sheriff of Nottingham (Keith Allen) and his evil ways. In the second season, the Sheriff of Nottingham plots to assassinate King Richard and snare Robin Hood in fiendish trap. Meanwhile, Marian (Lucy Griffiths) has her own troubles after she's sequestered in her castle by one of the Sheriff's goons. Will she ever see Robin again? This collection presents the first two seasons of the show.
