This medium-sized cooker easily has the capacity to cook a 3.5 pound chuck roast with carrots, onions and potatoes. Just what I needed; with free shipping and Buy.com VISA points it cost me 98 cents! The see-through glass lid and ceramic insert are dishwasher safe and it has a REAL power cord wired into the appliance - not one of those magnetically detachable 'safety' cords that can be knocked loose by being bumped or knocked loose by family members rummaging for breakfast or cats prowling the counters when nobody is home; leaving you with a pot of cold raw food when you get home.
