5 of 5 best for the money Tuesday, July 28, 2009 A Customer from Lockport NY
This is a great little bluetooth that works really well with my storm. I have another that people tell me has static- this one sounds great and people can hear me well, even when I am outside and there are other background noises.
One drawback is the limited range. Can't go too far from the phone. VERY comfortable, in ear- almost forget I have it on sometimes. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Good Headset Monday, July 07, 2008 YW from White Plains, NY
I bought this headset to wear on my daily 30 minute (each way) commute. It was very easy to set up and use and pair with my existing Nokia Cell phone. Call quality is better than Average, and definitely a good value for the price point ($45 after a $25 MIR).
The good:
1. Compact Design comfortable ear gels
2. Charges from a standard 4-bin USB
3. The sleeve vibrates when a call comes in - a plus if you don't want to wear the headset all the time.
4. Buttons are easy to find.
The bad:
1. Ear gel didn't sit well in my ear without the earloop
2. Earloop causes the gels to pop off. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Additional information Monday, June 23, 2008 M H from Bristol, CT
I can't figure out how to edit my previous review, so I'll add a bit more information here. I could not give a 5 for ease of use, because the on-board buttons are difficult to use while the earpiece is in the ear.
Pros: There is a short beep when you travel too far from the letting you know you're out of range. Once back in range, the connection automatically restores & your phone will pop up a message to reconnect.
Headset comes with 3 different sizes of ear pieces so the user can select the most comfortable fit.
Audio quality is good. I haven't experienced cracking, static or dropped calls. I have had to lower the volume on my Blackberry so the voice coming through the headset isn't so loud -- which is a good thing.
Cons: Range isn't all that great. For example, I can't enter another room without bringing my Blackberry along with me.
The buttons on the headset are not easy to push, without hurting my ear. I typically just use the buttons on my Blackberry instead to avoid the pain.
The only way to charge the headset is with the special case, which is very bad if the case gets lost or damaged. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Comfortable wireless Thursday, June 19, 2008 M H from Bristol, CT
Having just received this product, I immediately connected the charging unit to my USB cable to begin charging. After only about 10 minutes, I was able to follow the very easy instructions and connect to my Blackberry 8700g successfully. It was extremely easy!
Usage life is average for a bluetooth headset, depending on length of conversation, etc.
The only thing I'm worried about is the fact that it can only be charged in the special holder. Other bluetooth headsets I've had in the past were able to be connected directly to a power source, which was convenient for charging in multiple locations. I'll have to remember to bring the holder with me everywhere I might need to charge the headset and hope it doesn't get lost. Was this review helpful?
