I recently bought "Resistance-Fall of Man" for my son for our PS3. And up till now Ive always been more up on sport games, but I gotta say, this game is "TOTALLY AWESOME"! The graphics are killer and we especially like the wide variety of arsonel.Although Jacob,my son, is always running ahead of me, leaving me to take on the onslaught of creatures myself and never letting me drive the jeep, we still have a lot of fun! This being the first major shooter for PS3, the developers have done a fair job. I have played COD4 the controls are more refined, I hope the Resistance 2 will do a great job. Overall I love this game. Was this review helpful?

I've completed the first run through the game, and found it very fun to play. When you first start out, it seems like the game is going to be impossible to play, because there seems to be no way to regenerate. But keep playing.
The story is interesting, the game play is fun. Weapons are cool.
I'm looking forward to the Cooperative mode as well...

There is not much to say about Resistance. It has great graphics, awesome gameplay, amazing online play... oh, and did I mention it was a launch title? This game dosnt even use HALF of the space that is available on the Blu-Ray disc. Yay for Sony! Was this review helpful?

I arrived home from college about a week ago and was looking forward to my brand new PS3 and 3 games (Need for speed, nhl 07, resistance: fall of man). I spent an hour setting the system up and began to play NHl. It was a ton of fun and everything, but i wanted to try out the other games too. I played about an hour of NFS and decided to start resistance since it was close to 1am. I put in the disk and immediately went online where i spent the next 5 hours playing on various maps and with crazy fun weapons. This game is not as difficult as Halo for x-box where a few kids can dominate the game. I actually stood a chance from the get go. The medals and career statistics are fun to look at. I am almost done with the co-op campaign mode with my buddy. Overall, the best release game for PS3. An absolute steal on Buy.com w/ google checkout! Was this review helpful?
