Filled with outrageously funny musical performances by Neve Campbell, Christian Campbell, Kristen Bell and Steven Weber, Reefer Madness is the feel good event of the year! "A jokey, tokey musical treat." Detroit Free Press "Get ready to toe tap in this splashy, spoofy movie musical." US Weekly
 Editor's Note
A spectacular musical made for Showtime, and based on the most infamous propaganda film ever, REEFER MADNESS is a hilarious, campy extravaganza with glorious performances turned in by an all-star cast. A straitlaced youth, Jimmy Harper (Christian Campbell), is seduced by the irresistible new drug, marijuana, and soon his girlfriend, Mary (Kristin Bell), proves equally unable to withstand its lure. While Jimmy starts down a path of crime and murder, Mary taps into her debaucherous side, and develops an insatiable sexual appetite. Stunning costumes and dance sequences are accompanied by witty dialogue in a staging that is as irresistible as the drug itself. Co-starring are Neve Campbell (SCREAM), Alan Cumming (X-2), Steven Weber (TIMECODE), and Ana Gasteyer (SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, MEAN GIRLS).

| | Professional Reviews | Entertainment Weekly "[A] charcoal-black comedy, a winking update of 1936's celluloid sermon and the reincarnation of a frill-free stage show....The cast can sure carry a tune." -- Grade: A 11/11/2005 p.56San Francisco Chronicle 8 of 10 Reefer Madness is fronted by Tony winner Alan Cumming, whose fearlessness has shaped a brilliant career. But the movie -- and the musical -- is completely stolen by Kristin Bell, currently the star of the UPN series Veronica Mars, but no stranger to the stage (she played this same role, Mary Lane, in the off-Broadway production of Reefer Madness and was in the Broadway revival of Arthur Miller's The Crucible). Here she goes from good-golly sweetness to S&M dominatrix while hitting every high note along the way. A superbly gifted actress, she brings enough heft to counterbalance not only Cumming but also a driven, sly performance from Steven Weber as well. - Tim Goodman
