 Editor's Note
Popular country music singer Reba McIntyre stars in this hit family comedy series that airs on the WB channel. Reba is a recently-divorced parent of three, whose dentist husband Brock (Christopher Rich, MURPHY BROWN) has left her for his painfully perky--and pregnant--assistant, Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman, FARGO). Simultaneously, she learns that her 17-year-old daughter Cheyenne (JoAnna Garcia, FREAKS AND GEEKS, PARTY OF FIVE, AMERICAN PIE 2) is pregnant as well, and she intends to marry her football-star boyfriend, Van ((Steve Howey). Reba's daughter Kyra (Scarlett Pomers, STAR TREK: VOYAGER) is in the early stages of a rebellious and precocious adolescence, while her youngest son Jake (Mitch Holleman, DADDIO) maintains a calm within the storm. The trials and travails of this offbeat family are presided over by the take-charge, loving Reba, who manages to save the day almost every time, and whose motherly wisdom and openhearted good humor carries the show. In the first season Brock and Reba navigate the sticky terrain of their newly-defined relationship, Cheyenne and Van get married and deal with the difficulties of attending high school as a pregnant couple, and Kyra deals with the pains of her first crush. Included are the pilot episode, as well as "The Honeymoon's Over or Now What?" "Someone's at the Gyno with Reba," "You Make Me Sick," "The Steaks Are High," "The Man and the Moon," "Tea and Antipathy," "Don't Know Much About History," "When Good Credit Goes Bad," "Meet the Parents," "A Mid-Semester's Night Dream," "Brock's Swan Song," "The Story of a Divorce," "You May Kick the Bride," " Vanny Dearest," "He's Having a Baby," "She Works Hard for Their Money," "Labor of Love," "The King and I," "Up a Treehouse with a Paddle," and "It Ain't Over till the Red-Head Sings."
