5 of 5 excellent mouse pad and wrist rest Tuesday, May 26, 2009 amish geek from sacramento, california
i love this razer mouse pad, and wrist rest its made of metal light weight, and the wrist rest is attached to this mat that goes under the pad so it does not fall of the desktop. that`s what my old one did every single time i got up from my desk. iv`e been struggling for months trying to find a mouse pad that works with my laser mouse i finally found one. the razer logo on the wrist rest does wear off easily but so what its not a function it looks better with out it anyway .i`m just happy to find something that finally works with all my different laser`s, and a wrist rest that does not fall off the frakin desk. 5 of 5 Mat is great...wrist support...eh Sunday, February 01, 2009 James from Orem, Utah
This mouse pad is very nice. You immediately notice the difference when you move your mouse from your desk surface onto this pad. If feels like you've just pulled your mouse out of a pool of molasses and onto a clean, smooth glass surface.
If you're used to wrist supports, this may be a good value for you. However, if you are not used to a wrist support, this will probably not convert you. If wrist support isn't important to you, grab the less-expensive version that doesn't include the wrist support. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 A little pricy but it will last you a while Wednesday, December 31, 2008 In love....with my mousepad from Hartford, CT
When I told my friends and family that I was buying a $30 mouse pad, they told me to go see a psychiatrist as soon as possible. After purchasing the eXactMat, I started having doubts and nightmares as well. What if it was just a farce? What have I gotten myself into? What if the mousepad was cursed? My fears were put to rest after I kept rereading reviews of the mouse pad on various websites and forums. Every article I read raved about it so I thought it couldn't be that bad. When the mouse pad arrived, I tore open the box faster than a pack of hungry hungry hippos and touched the cool metal surface to my face. Amazing! Anodized aluminum metal! I felt the two textures of the control and speed sides and I could truly feel the difference! It was nice to see that the wrist pad was actually detached from the mouse pad itself, so one could travel light during caravan season. The wrist pad is a very nice addition and adds so much soothing comfort for those who need it. There are also rubber feet that prevent the mouse pad to slide off the desk and escape. And the mouse pad has enough surface area for maneuvering but its just small enough to fit in an area approximately 12"x12", which is a space that I can always seems to reserve in any area that I am in. All in all, I am 100% satisfied in my purchase. I have used the pad for 3 weeks now and there are smudges starting to appear but they are barely noticeable. I just wipe them off with a microfiber cloth. I would say that I am a heavy user of the mouse pad and the text and text color on the mouse pad still look as bright and colorful as the day I bought the pad. The rubber feet have not degraded one bit though there is a bit of dust that clings to them, however its pretty easy to clean off. I use this with my new Razer 3G diamondback and now the two are like inseparable lovers! Works extremely well. For those who are still contemplating purchasing this pad, DO IT! The $30 price tag my be high at first but it definitely pays off. This pad is built to last and can possibly survive a nuclear holocaust. Nonetheless, I'll be passing this mouse pad to my grandchildren and I hope they pass it onto to their grandchildren. My family and friends still urge me to see a psychiatrist but they do not realize the experience they are missing. I love this mouse pad so much that sometimes I take it to bed with me....and caress the cool anodized metal surface. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 HI PERFORMANCE Friday, December 26, 2008 Freddie from Greensboro, NC
I am using a Razer DeathAdder mouse, and had used quite a few other mouse pads. My setting for the mouse are all set on high. I had noticed some tracking issues with other pads, and decided to go with the eXactMat. After all its made by the makers of the mouse and should be geared for it right?
Exactly! I've played using both the speed and the precision sides and found I like the speed side much more for gaming. However when I change my hats and gear up for my graphic design work, the precision side accommodates my needs perfectly. The added wrist rest is a nice bonus and helps with those long hours of fragging or designing. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Worth it, relieves wrist pain Saturday, November 15, 2008 A Customer from Columbus, OH
I was the last person in the world who would have bought a mousepad for 30 bucks. However, a friend convinced me that it was a big step up from the generic mousepad I had been using for the last 12 years. I remained skeptical, but quickly became convinced after delivery. The mousepad is larger than your typical mouse pad, so it couldn't fit on my keyboard tray. No biggie, as I don't like using the keyboard tray. Soon I found myself taking advantage of the larger mousepad in Windows, as I turned down the sensitivity of my mouse. This way, the screen could easily be mapped to the entire mouse pad, versus a tiny little area. This enhances precision.
The wrist rest is key. I am glad I purchased the bundle, because the mousepad alone, while nice, is greatly complimented by the wrist rest. The wrist rest is designed to fit into the bottom curve of the mousepad. It is almost as wide as the mousepad, meaning you can put your wrist in its usual position relative to the mouse pad and still have ample wrist rest on both sides. The memory foam-like material began to form itself to my wrist within hours.
Mousing is significantly better now than it has been in the past. As someone with chronic wrist problems, I highly recommend this mouse pad. It offers a larger mousing area for those that prefer a smaller sensitivity and slower mouse speed. The wrist conforms itself to your wrist virtually instantaneously. It feels good to use it. Wrist pain has been down noticeably since using this mousepad and wrist rest. At the price I paid, it was a value buy. If you have problems mousing due to wrist pain, this product is for you. 5 of 5 No regrets Saturday, September 27, 2008 Trotter from Tennessee
I wanted a good mousing surface for my Razer Lachesis because what's the use to have a Corvette and only drive it to the mailbox and back... I wanted one that was solid and rigid, not too large. I was concerned that the eXactMat would be too big, but it is perfect.
The pad is a little larger than a sheet of paper. It is solid, but lightweight. The two different surfaces give me an additional option, as I can choose speed vs control (but are super-fast and have great control, by the way). The eXactPad holds the Mat perfectly, as they were made to go together. Although I had some hesitation about paying more than $10 for a mouse pad, I am more than pleased with my purchase.
If you game, you need this mouse pad. Was this review helpful?

A very good product for its application and dual functionality. Ergonomically correct. Comfortable. A little bit pricey. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Continues to impress me Saturday, April 05, 2008 Kjetil Melhus from Amarillo Texas
When I first got it, took a look at it I thought it was going to be too big for my computer desk. As I also have a phone, router, cable modem, joystick and various other junk on my desk. But, the unique design of it allowed it to fit with room left over.
The wristpad, is a bit uncomfortable until you break it in. And my only other gripe with it, is that the wristpad can sometimes get in the way and you find that your mouse is right down by the pad requiring you to move the mouse up towards the top. Again, that is a very minor issue and I'm sure once I get used to it even more, I can find ways to prevent this from happening. A+ Great mousepad. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Surprised, good and bad! (More good then bad thoug Saturday, March 22, 2008 Diablo8520 from Corvallis, OR
Before purchasing from buy.com, I've looked around quite a bit for this mouse pad and unfortunately it seems to be running dry and soon off the market... which is unfortunate because this pad has done a exceptional job in every aspect.
The look and feel of the mousepad is both superb and sturdy. the mouse pad has a good amount of space but it isn't too big that it actually covers my whole drafting table. The two sides, control and speed, are textured in different ways - the control side having a more bumpy texture while the speed side feeling more like the texture of painted on plastic. I personally prefer the control side ... it actually feels faster and less 'sticky'. The wrist guard is a must, and it feels amazingly good to use after hours upon hours of work and gaming but the paint on emblem already wore down within the first week of use (hence the performance).
Overall it's worth the money and it's made a big impact in both my working and gaming, giving me the freedom of space that I need with the comfort that I want. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great MousePad Tuesday, September 25, 2007 Harvster from Tucson, Az
I am really impressed with this pad. It is big and has two sides to it. I quit using the rougher side because it grinds the pads off of my mouse, I just use the smoother side now and my mouse slides as though on ice. I didn't like the gel pad at first, it felt too hard, but now after a month, the pad has indented to a peferct fit to my wrist. My hand doesn't get tired anymore either. I am a Drafter/Designer and have worked 20 straight hours and my MX-1000 mouse and pad make a perfect mate. Was this review helpful?

If you are a gamer, get this. It's that simple. Lotsa space and the dual surfaces gives you total control. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 A great companion to the Razer Diamondback Thursday, April 26, 2007 A Customer from Spokane, WA
...or any other Razer mouse, I assume (I've only used the Diamondback, personally). This is a pretty large mouse pad, and it's solid metal, so be sure you have the desk real estate to lay it down. However, I can think of no better mouse pad for an optical mouse than this one. It does not slip at all, it has two types of surfaces, and each one creates a different experience, one providing more control, the other providing more effortless mouse movement. Both are great, although I lean more toward the control side the higher I set the sensitivity of the mouse. Also be aware that you probably don't NEED the wrist rest (and the mouse pad is sold without the wrist rest, if you like) if your arm is even with, or slightly below, the level of your desk. If your armrest is above the top of the desk and your hand drops down a bit onto the mouse, then the wrist rest would be of more use. Anyway, this is an excellent mousepad if you have the room, and one I would recommend for any optical mouse, but especially those with very high resolution like the Razer mice or some other brands that produce gaming mice. 5 of 5 An amazing pad for your Razer mouse Thursday, April 19, 2007 A Customer from Spokane, WA
This wonderful combination of a mouse pad and wrist rest is exactly what you want for your Razer. It has a side that allows your mouse to glide effortlessly, and another side which, while also moving smoothly, offers a bit more friction so the mouse is less likely to "drift" when you don't want it to. The wrist rest is also comfortable, having a slight indentation in the middle to cushion your wrist. I've used the mouse for hours in gaming with absolutely no discomfort, which could not be said before when I had no mouse pad or wrist rest. While the price does seem a bit high for a mouse pad, it IS solidly built and offers two very different mousing experiences. Was this review helpful?
