4 of 5 These ones fit the bill Monday, January 19, 2009 Mr. Soft Bass from Denver, CO
I got these for my wife, to match the color of her iPod Shuffle. She enjoys them for both the style and the sound. I haven't listened to them, but they're working well for my wife. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Awesome sound, good bass, but... Monday, December 29, 2008 TechZombie from Cumming, GA
These ear buds are good. Two things that are detrimental to good reproduction (to hear good music from these buds)
1. You need to stick them deep into your ear canal to get fabulous response. The obviously reason being they are noise isolating types.
2. Because of the wire enclosure that sticks out longer than necessary you can not put these ear buds inside you ear deep enough at times and end up providing limited noise isolation.
These ear buds are very subjective to the user's ears as in most noise isolating ear buds. If it fits well and isolates noise then these tiny buds do offer a good bass response and detail in the mid and the highs. If it does not stick in deep enough then they don't sound well and you almost don't hear the bass.
I may want to cut the wire enclosure shorter in some way to make them a better fit. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great value! Saturday, December 27, 2008 A Customer from Seattle, WA
Bought 2 pairs of these for my kids for Xmas. Couldn't beat the $10 price (free shipping/no tax) and features (in ear, noise isolating, cord extension, cool colors, etc) The kids love them I would recommend them. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 Decent buy with some design quirks Friday, December 26, 2008 Joel Chan from Clarksville, AR
This pair of headphones has good looks and delivers crisp audio, although the volume levels were lower than I expected (perhaps better for my ears in the long run =p).
There are few design quirks I wish I'd known about before buying this product.
First, the headphones have an asymmetric cord design: the right side is longer than the left, presumably to allow the user to loop the right side around the neck to keep the cords out of the way. Useful for many, no doubt, but not the way I prefer to wear my headphones.
Second, the headphone cord comes in two parts: 1) an extremely short top, and 2) a long extension cable. The purpose of this design escapes me, except perhaps to accommodate use with mp3 phone headsets.
Overall, a decent buy, but I wouldn't buy it again because of the design quirks. But that's just me. Was this review helpful?
