I occasionally use these headphones for a click track during live performances on the drums. They do a decent job of muffling exterior noise. Cheap alternative to in ear monitors (cause all drummers are broke and cant afford shure in ear monitors heh). For around $30 you cant go wrong. Was this review helpful?

I bought these because their rounded shape seemed like it would be better for biking. At first they were no better than the Sonys I was using before But, after experimenting with different insertion angles I found that if I put them in my ears with the cords up that I could fit them in my ears and the wind noise was nearly gone. The angled shape does allow for different positions. On the other hand, if the angle is wrong the sound disappears.
Overall sound quality is very good. And I have tried a lot of earphones that sound like junk. They are heavy on the bass and light on the high end... But they're called Atomic Bass so that is what should be expected.
The straight plug sticks out of the ipod a little far but that's minor. So far, these are the best earbuds I have tried for a reasonable price. Was this review helpful?

This headphones definitely have bass punch but what about the High sounds? they sound Ok but the bass over power the highs so if you listen to a song that has more Highs than bass, the Highs will sound more Thick than usual.

I bought these headphones based on reviews & I was presently surprised. These headphones provide excellent bass response(a problem for in-ear headphones) and decent tone quality for $25 bucks. Beats most big brand names hands down. The key to getting good bass output is to use the right buds, to get it to fit deep into your ear canal. You will know you have the right fit when the bass is bangin'. After some initial discomfort, the earbuds wear comfortably for hours. Cord length is also good( I'm 6'2"). The cover for the mini plug has come loose, as stated in another review, but half a drop of Krazy glue is an easy fix. Was this review helpful?

The cover for the 3.5mm stereo mini plug has become loose, kinda of annoying but other then that this is a good set of cheap buds,good bass and noise canceling and seems to have a better build quality then its competitor Skull Candy which tend to die after a month or so of use. I got these a few days ago hopin they would be what I expected and I was NOT dissapointed. Im a metalhead and these things do great with all of my heavy stuff including deathmetal. I also got a hiphop craving now and then and the phones are just amazing. They are more than comfortable, I never thought an earbud would stay in an ear so well. I also like how discreet they are...I didn't expect them to be so small. It is hard to tell from the pictures what kind of interface these had for my ears. The price was right so I took the chance. It was a good choice. They come with 3 different size grommets or ear pieces that fit different size ears, so yes I believe they will fit everyone. The sound is unbelievable. I am really shocked at how good the sound is. The grommets are a type of rubber that seems like it will last a long time. They seal very well and you never need to push the earphone further into your ear to get the true base effect, it is always there.
Drawbacks: 1 The different seals are enterchangble. This means they come off. Be careful or you may loose them. I have had to reinstall mine a few times. 2: They stick out of the ear. I purchased these in the winter. I wanted to go running with these and my head band on. It is a little painful with the headband pushing these into your ears. These are the perfect earphones for the iPod Touch with the EQ "Bass Booster". It sounds absolutely amazing and I've always had problems with the earphones with the rubber-like earbud but this one never falls off. The bass with this thing is amazing for its size, and it is the best earphones I had so far.

I was using Creative's EP 630 till my sweetheart bought a perfect gift for me.Radius Atomic Bass Earphones.I love my ep 630,but unfortunately the left one stopped working :( I was looking out for something equally good and I happened to stumble upon this.The bass is terrific and I just can't stop listening to music.These headphones are not only one of the sexiest headphones i've seen, but deliver amazing sound with beautiful bass and treble. I agree these phones have good sound, with good wide range, including more bass than most. My complaint is with the way they built these. There is no strain relief where the wire enters the metal body of the earpiece. Over time, the metal body tends to slice though the wire - mine lasted only four months. Just a couple small pieces of heat shrink tubing (.5 cents worth), to act as strain relief, would extend this product's life by years. Was this review helpful?

first off, im not a big rap/r&b guy, but these headphones portray bass so well for those genres it absolutely amazing. you can almost feel the bumping in your head... (not a bad thing). however, im a hard rock/metal guy, and the sound is amazing. i can actually hear the bassist in the majority of the songs which is unheard of in $30 earbuds. the comfort level is amazing as well, they are very discrete and well fitting. i would recommend this over my last pair of $120 earbuds... they are that good.

Good value for the price I paid.
Don't compare to Shure because you'll notice this set has no highs and almost no mids. Bass is comparable to Shure even though a bit more pronounced. I mostly listen to trance and like it.
Overall, good deal for the price but nothing spectacular like some reviewers make you think. It does make you wonder how bad those Bose plugs are :-) Was this review helpful?

I purchased these earphones to be used to monitor audio from my video camera and I am very impressed with them so far. I am not an audiophile. These earbuds were certainly sufficient to my purpose. I use them for working out... on the plus side they stick inside my ears well.
The sound is fine... it might be super duper awesome, but a) I have it connected to an ipod nano, so how good could the sound possibly be and b) I am not an audiophile so my ears dont really tell the difference that much.

These in-ear speakers replaced the earbuds that came with my wife's Ipod. I don't have to say anything about the sub par sound on the Apple ear buds. My wife said she now hears more content in her music and she insisted I listen to some of it.
The Atomic Bass earphones delivered a nicely balanced spectrum of sound and provide a much more enjoyable listening experience than the old earphones. For $20 they're a great deal!

Because I have small ears I have never been able to wear the earbud style of headphones. I purchased the radius atomic earphones because they advertised they would fit even the smallest of ears. This Christmas I received a new mp3 player and I wasn't impressed with the sound quality and considered sending it back. When the radius atomic earphones came in the mail, I tried them immediately. What a shock! Not only did they fit my ears very comfortably, my so-so mp3 player now sounded absolutely fantastic !! The sound you get from these earphones is beyond belief. I have small ears and did not realize that until now. I've had my 30Gig video iPod for almost 3 years now and spent lots of money on different earphones. I bought Apple earphones twice excluding the ones that came in with the pod. Every time I lost a set, it is because they pop out of my ears and I step on them.
These buds fit my ears perfectly. The sound clarity is descent (Way better than apple's original) but I guess you can get better quality if you shell out some more cash.
