Album Notes and Credits

Notes & Personnel Info
Personnel: Issa Joone, Dave Smith , David Scott, Lara Peterson (vocals).
Radiant Decay: A Tribute to Nine Inch Nails is like most tribute albums in that its highlights tend to be submerged by a slew of less compelling tracks. Even though many of these covers point out how important the theatrical venom of Trent Reznor's vocal delivery was to the originals (not to mention his intricately detailed arrangements and production), there are still some intriguing reimaginings here, like T.H.C.'s stuttering drum'n'bass remix of "Mr. Self Destruct." ~ Steve Huey
Given that Nine Inch Nails and Trent Reznor copycats were prevalent throughout the '90s, and that tribute albums were de rigueur in the latter half of the decade, it came as little surprise that Vitamin's Radiant Decay: A Tribute to Nine Inch Nails appeared in the final months of the decade. What does come as a surprise is that it's pretty generic and, in doing so, doesn't really speak to NIN's wide influence. Thankfully, nobody photocopies Reznor's originals, but they never really distinguish themselves, either. Consequently, the album is a little limp, even if it is well intentioned. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine

Producer: George Sarah; Transparent; Alex Xenophon; Myke Smith; Tin Electric; Transient; Broke Box
