I can not imagine that the iPod mini will do any better as a player than the MUVO TX. Setup and use is so simple and quick I could not believe it. The sound quality with the ear buds provided is also impressive. The features of the equalizer, plus voice recorder and the flash card make this the ideal replacement for my old bulky PDA. The only thing I would suggest Creative add is a mute feature, either with a button or by pressing both volume controls simultaniously, then I would not need to remove the ear buds to talk to someone or answer the phone. Musicmatch jukebox gives me a much easier way to transfer music files than Creatives Juke Box.

I bought 2 of these for my kids for xmas. Love them so much I bought myself one too! Easy enough for a 14 year old to program. Excellent battery life, small, compact unit. USB plugs right into computer port, can't ask for an easier MP3 player. Would highly recommend for anyone young or old. Why pay 249 for an IPOD????

I've had the Muvo 128 player, I/O data, Archos, RCA Lyra and the Polaroid Jukebox. The Muvo Tx is the best one I've had so far. The EQ feature works as good as a fine home stereo unit. The LCD packs all the needed info into a scroll system that's fairly user friendly and intuitive once you've had some practice. Downloading songs is a fast process and it will hold 130+ songs in Mp3Pro format. For the money, (I paid $82 at Best Buy) this Mp3 player and voice recorder CAN'T BE BEAT!!!

I received my Muvo TX just in time for my girlfriend's christmas present. I opened it to make sure everything was in working order. Immediately, I noticed that it came with everything a jogger could want, armband, beltclip, extra battery, and some decent headphones. The player itself was a breeze to get up and running. Just install the software from the included CD, and plug the player directly into your computer. I have front USB ports on my machine, but an extension cable would have been nice for those without. The file transfer was USB 2.0 so waiting wasn't an issue. While the device is connected to your computer, it is as simple as drag and drop files. Make sure you arrange the files in the order you want however. I solved this by adding numbers to the tracks I wanted to apper first. The device, despite all it's features seems to lack a "next" button besides the FastF. method. The only downside to this player I see. The pluses are that the sound is great. Even with the included earphones, which are pretty low quality, the player pulled off a nice range of sound. I connected some of my more expensive earbuds, and it was top notch. The menu system is easily navigable, and it includes an area where you make your voice recordings, a folder where it keeps your voice recordings (I played with this feature a lot), an EQ setting which includes Rock, Classical, Jazz, Pop, Custom, or NORM. In my opinion, norm was the best sounding, but it was while playing Blue October's Calling You, so I guess that is a matter of opinion. The play menu does have the option to shuffle, repeat, repeat folder, repeat track, etc. Which makes me even more baffled as to why they didn't include a skip track button. This little MP3 player is hands down the best you can buy for the price for the gym in my opinion, and as it doubles as a pen drive and a voice recorder for memos, it makes the perfect college student gift for this season.

I would highly recommend the MUVO. Just plug it in to a USB port and you're up and running. Online music sites like MusicMatch will automatically sync your music files to it on the fly. And the sound quality is surprisingly clear and deep. I'm completely satisfied!

I loved this mp3 playes because it is 100% compatible with my Linux system!!! given that it works as a stick memory as well. And yes, it is small, light, great for working out, bla, bla, bla.

I've had this one for about a week now and it is just perfect. Small, light, slim. I like the clip that comes with it, this way the player stays away from my sweat while running as opposed to hanging around my neck under the T-shirt. That's how I ruined my old one. super easy downloads, plays DRM!!!!! I pay for my music on the net and not every MP3 player will play DRM protected file. The Creativ media source software is easy to work with and file conversion is a snap. Much better than JukeBox and MUsicMatch. I could never figure those ones out. This unit's got every feature that is out there eventhough it does not look like it at first. The design is nice and very, very simple, but not as top notch quality workmanship as some other units I had before. As long as it works, no complaints. When I first opened the box, it looked as though it is a fake unit. This feeling lasted only until I put a battery in and turned it on. To learn to operate the unit takes about two minutes, it is just so simle and effective, yet it has gotten all the bells and whistless you would expect. I never tried the headphones that come with the unit, but the sound is clear and loud in my old RCA headphones. Very happy. Although I will probably never use the voice recording feature, I tried it on my roomate and we were both amazed with the recording quality. I am pleasently surpriced. I bought mine for half the price of similar units, so I just wish It lasts me long. I would recommend this one, especially when you get it on sale.

I know industry experts and loyal users love thier iPods. Heck, if you can carry your entire music collection on a handheld device, why not? Well, to me, the MP3 player is used to play music on the go for instances like working out. If THAT is your reason for it, THIS is the one. Key Features I love: * SO light! Can't even tell it's there almost. * Plug and Play: I took it out of the box, loaded my music on it from the USB port and was listening in under 5 minutes. Opening the box was more difficult than loading the music. It's drag and drop. It's like a memory stick. And, guess what? You can pull music back off of it onto your computer. What if my laptop at work has no music and i want to transfer a few files immediately? There you go. And you can also use it like a memory key, puting files for work/school on it. So simple, so powerful. * Comes with Armband. Simple as it may be, I didn't have to buy an accessory. * Has Equalizers and a customizable version too. * Great Price! * No software need. If you have Windows XP, just plug and play. Don't need to load drivers. don't need a whole new music program bundled on the disk. Yes, it comes with that option, but why? I'm perfectly happy with my Windows Media Player or Real Audio to manage these things. Drawbacks: * So, you can't cary more than 256MB... and no expansion. Enjoy!
